As you make your way through the game, you’ll encounter a lot of large trolls. These can be some of the harder fights in the game, as they can quickly deplete your health.
However, taking them down serves a very valuable purpose: collecting their bogey!
Troll bogeys can be used in making Invisibility potions, so finding them and taking them down is well worth the struggle.
Luckily, you can find trolls in the overworld and not just in the main game – if you know where to look. This guide will specifically point you in the direction of a troll lair!

To find the troll lair, make your way west of Hogwarts Valley. The map above shows exactly where you can find one.

Before you head into the lair of the trolls, make sure you are ready for a fight as the trolls won’t just hand over their bogeys.
Trolls are known to charge, so be ready to dodge them at a moment’s notice. Their hits are also incredibly powerful and could take you out quickly, so stack up on potions and have your most powerful spells ready.
If you find you aren’t powerful enough to fight a wild troll, remember this area and come back when your character becomes stronger.
