Armor sets in Honkai Star Rail have their own Set bonuses and Effects. This gives you complete freedom to do whatever build you want. Or you can do something better and stack them on top of each other to get even bigger bonuses. It’s much more efficient to do the latter sometimes.
But what are Set Effects? Where can you see them? And should you stack 4 instead of 2? All of these questions will be answered in the guide. If you prioritize efficiency in your builds then read on through and get yourself some rewards in the process!
Activate a 4-Pc Relic Set Effect Guide
You’re not just activating a 4-Pc Relic Set to boost your stats. Activating relic sets are also a part of Operation Briefing (Part 3). These are a series of extra missions that you can complete as you progress through the game. You can access and keep track of these missions through the Interastral Guide on your character’s mobile device.
There’s two ways of getting to the Relics Section of your character. You can get there by clicking on “Go” while looking at the mission, or from the Characters Menu. You’ll see that on the upper right of your screen and in the middle of your mobile device.
Now that you have chosen your character, go to Relics and click on Switch. This will take you to a section where you can take a closer look at the stats of your gear.
While you’re on this menu, take a look at the right side where you can see more info about your gear. For example you have the Knight of Purity Palace (3) for your breastplate. You need to find three pieces of gear that have the same set effect. This will grant you the bonus stats depending on the gear you’re wearing.
Put all of the pieces of gear on your character and go back to the Interastral Guide interface. Claim your reward at any given time as long as you have the appropriate gear equipped.
You can get different pieces of armor from increasing your Trailblaze Level. Sometimes you still get the same set effects from putting on varying Relics. This however, depends on the rarity of the item. The claimable rewards can also be looted in the middle of gameplay. There’s even a way to improve your skills further aside from putting on armor!
