Update 1.6 in Honkai: Star Rail is sure to get players more excited than previous ones, especially those looking for even more challenges within Memory of Chaos.
While of course we all can’t wait to see Dr. Ratio and Ruan Mei in action as well as the new character banners, update 1.6 brings quite the improvements to quality of life.
And more permanent Stellar Jades to grind!
All New Features & Changes Coming With 1.6
With the most recent patch, Honkai: Star Rail receives many minor fixes to mostly visual bugs with the Argenti as well as improvements to some skills and attack patterns when auto-battle is on.
Oh, and Numby can attract more Trotters now! Without further ado, let’s get to the most important crux of the update.

Memory of Chaos (MOC): New Auto-Clear Feature & Stages
Folks, just between you, me, and my day job, we’ve not been consistently clearing the MOC, not at the sheer amount of time needed to clear them.
Juggling between this, catching up to Genshin Impact’s latest event, and finally reaching new quota in Lethal Company has been impossible.
- They’ve added the Quick Unlock feature which is definitely one of the best methods to save time.
- Based on the last stage that you’ve cleared, this season you can have all the previous stages unlocked by challenging the highest possible stage, up to Stage 7.
- Additionally, two new stages have been added, ramping up the Stellar Jades reward from 600 to 720 in total.
- New currency has also been added called the Jade Feather, used to be exchanged at the new Forgotten Hall shop, Jokes Come True. You can claim them after getting a total of 21 stars or more.
New Gamemode: Pure Fiction (Permanent)
New event that’ll be added into permanent content is the Pure Fiction gamemode. Pure Fiction rewards 720 Stellar Jades & Jade Feather, the new currency.
Moreover, Pure Fiction is very similar to Memory of Chaos. But instead of clearing as fast as you can, Pure Fiction is a monster rush where new waves will keep spawning for you to gain points.
New Simulated Universe Worlds
Simulated Universe Gold and Gears has been added. Unlock the new universe via clearing the Simulated Universe World 5. Simulated Universe has also been updated with a new path: Erudition.
Nameless Honor Daily Missions Removed
The Battlepass for Honkai: Star Rail has been revamped with the Today’s Missions section removed. With only two tabs to keep track off, players now can finish the entire week’s mission at any point in time before the week passes!
Where is my “spending 1000 Trailblaze Power on Sunday” gang?
New Event: Critter Pick (Conventional Memoir)
Critters! Honkai has pets now. Event is unlockable after finishing the new Trailblazer Mission, “When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine.” Mix and match different breeds to create new adorable lil’ critters!
