In Horizon Forbidden West, you can take on side quests like the “Gate of the Vanquished”. In this quest, you will find that you need to choose between Drakka or Yarra when it comes to who will become the commander in the desert.
Side with Drakka or Yarra – Horizon Forbidden West
Even though it is only a side quest, Aloy will be the one to choose who will become the commander for the desert in the Vanquisher quest.
Both choices have their own flaws and idealization, and ultimately, the choice will be yours.
When you reach the point of the story where you need to speak to either person, you can speak to both of them and hear their ideas. However, you eventually need to choose between the two to continue the quest.
There are no benefits to choosing either side, so choose whoever you like.
No matter how much you try to argue with both of them, choosing one will lead to the death of the other. Once you chose one side, you will team up with your chosen person and defeat the other faction.
The person you chose will be left alive and become the commander of the desert clan.
