The Horizon series has an interesting concept that would have melted the brains of anyone in 1980. A post-apocalyptic world where robotic dinosaurs rule the world? And you get to have an attractive female protagonist? Well, I think some people wouldn’t like the second part, but they would be ecstatic to be able to see Horizon Forbidden West, especially since it has incredibly large boss fights.

In this guide, we will show you how to beat the Slaughterspine boss. While not as big as the other boss fight (not going to spoil that), it is still a hard boss.

Slaughterspine Boss Fight Guide – Horizon Forbidden West

The Slaughterspine is just like any other machine out in the world: it can take damage and its plating can come off. However, since it is a boss, it will be very hard to take it down because of its boss status.

It has increased strength with increased health compared to other machines. But if you have enough ammo for your Zenith weapon? Then you can easily take it down.

The Slaughterspine will attack you by trying to chomp you, stomp on you, tail whip you and blast you with its mouth laser. The best way to take down the machine is by using your Zenith weapon, as it will do more damage and is faster to shoot.

Seyka will also be helping you throughout the fight, being able to trip the machine with her Tripcaster. You can also do this as well, which will speed up the process of tripping the machine and stunning it for a good amount of time, time that you can use to shoot it with your Zenith weapon.

Keep doing that, and you will be able to defeat the Slaughterspine.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
