Horizon Forbidden West: Where To Get Owls

Hunting wildlife animals is a big part of the gameplay in Horizon Forbidden West. Wildlife animals can drop items necessary to craft items. This guide will show you where you can get Owls in Horizon Forbidden West.

Owl Location – Horizon Forbidden West

To hunt some Owls, start by going to the area on the map below.

This area is just to the west of Scalding Spear. There is a small ledge of rock here that you can stand on to get a better view of the area.

Use your Focus Mode in this area to find and highlight the owls in the area. They are usually walking on the ground well-hidden by the grass. However, they will fly away if you alert them or fail to kill them in a shot.

Once you see the Owl using the Focus Mode, use your bow to defeat it. Some owls are close to each other so be sure to avoid alerting the other owls so you can hunt them both.

Looting an owl can give you Pristine Skulls, Wild Meat, and Owl Feather. You can also get a Whole Snowbird and Owl Wishbone from it.
