The Only Method to Beat Pétanks

Once you encounter one of the Pétanks out in the field, you can quickly notice that you won’t be able to fight it directly (at first). If a player gets too close to one of them, the Pétank will effortlessly evade and reposition itself far away.

To trap a Pétank, you will need to find an ancient rune like this first. These can usually be found near these types of mobs, so don’t worry!

Although a little bit tricky, you can use the Pétank’s movement to your advantage. Approach the enemy and find a way to make it move towards the direction of the rune. This serves as a magnet that will hold it down. When you’ve successfully trapped it, only then will you be able to fight!

The challenging part isn’t over. The Pétank will only allow the player a few turns to deal damage before it escapes again. If this happens, you can always repeat the process I mentioned earlier to capture it once more.
Now that you know how to trap one of these Pétanks, go out there and start hunting! Try not to overcomplicate the way it moves around. Look for certain patterns where it likes to travel to and adjust yourself accordingly. In the long run, capturing these enemies can be sort of fun (at least, in my opinion).
