So, when you get home, you go grab your charger and plug up your PlayStation Portal and game on the PlayStation 5 instead. But what if you want to charge your PlayStation Portal on the PlayStation 5? Is it possible? In this guide, I will show you how you can do this with easy-to-follow-steps!

How to Charge PlayStation Portal With a PS5

In order to charge your PlayStation Portal with the PlayStation 5, you will first need a Type-C cable that can connect the PlayStation Portal to the PlayStation 5.

The PlayStation 5 has 3 USB ports and 1 Type-C port. Use any of the ports as long as the cable has a Type-C that can connect to the PlayStation Portal.

After inserting the Type-C into the PlayStation Portal, simply insert the other end to the PlayStation 5.

The PlayStation Portal will instantly start charging. While it does, simply let it charge and come back when the PlayStation Portal is 100% fully charged before unplugging.

Elijah Hernandez is someone that loves video games since he was little. It didn't matter to him if people didn't like a video game. If it was fun, that was all that mattered to him. He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
