Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade offers all sorts of Quests that players can complete to get multiple types of rewards as drops. For the most part, they are pretty manageable and can be a fun challenge when trying out your teams. However, some of them can get insanely difficult.

One of these really difficult Quests is the Area Survey one on Very Hard difficulty. In particular, it is the final Stage where things can get especially challenging. In this guide, we will show you how you can clear it and some great rewards! Let’s get into this guide.

The Area Survey Quest is mostly manageable at the Very Hard difficulty if you have a good team. However, it is at Stage 5 where the difficulty really ramps up. So, we will cover everything possible to ensure that you can beat Stage 5.

Completing Area Survey on the Very Hard difficulty can be incredibly useful. This is because you can get medals as drops from completing it, which you can use to purchase some really powerful SSR characters for free.

You will especially want to do this if you are avoiding paying real money in this game.

Recommended Character Lineup

Once you’ve selected Area Survey on Very Hard you will see the menu shown below. At the bottom, you will see a menu that shows the recommended Battle Power, which is 29,000.

This is quite a high Battle Power, so you will want to do this challenge when you are in the end game stage.

If you want this challenge to be manageable, you will want your Battle Power to be much higher than this amount i.e. around 10,000 more. So, consider leaving this challenge for later if it is too low.

- Best Damage Dealer in the game.

- Essential in the later stages because of his healing capabilities.

Gojo (Fifth Slot)
- Great damage dealer who disappears after seven turns, so avoid putting him in the main slots.

Additionally, you can also select Residues which will help boost the impact your team has. You do not have to focus too much on them, but we recommend giving them some thought, and using those that suit your characters.

Area Survey on Very Hard Strategy

Now that you are prepared for the challenge, it is time to get into it. The first four stages can be cleared without too much of a problem. You can even complete them on auto play if you wish, and they will go by in a breeze.

After you complete each stage, you will get the option to Buff either your Attack, HP or Defense. We strongly recommend that you always choose Attack, as you will need that additional Damage when Stage 5 comes around the corner.

Sometimes in Stage 4, you might find that your HP is low as the battle plays out. In such cases, we recommend that you use your Yuta to heal your time so that they can still fight in Stage 5. Otherwise, you can hold onto the heals.

Additionally, if your team’s HP is still low, then you can choose to Buff HP after Stage 4. However, if your HP is fine, continue with buffing your attack.

Once you reach Stage 5, however, that’s when you’ll be bringing your A game. We recommend that you immediately turn off your auto targeting, as you will want to choose each attack manually for maximum efficiency. You can also do this if you are struggling in the earlier stages.

Your goal at this Stage is to maximize the damage you deal to the two enemies. This is because they are extremely Tanky – even your best attacks will only really make a dent in them. When you are manually choosing your attacks, you want to choose those that the enemies are weak against.

At the same time, you also want to avoid using attacks that enemies are resistant towards, as this will decrease your damage output. In some cases, using them is fine, such as when using your Ultimate or attacks that target multiple enemies.

Sometimes, if you notice that the other enemy is going to dodge your attacks, then you will have to choose the Resistant enemy.

Otherwise, avoid it so that you can get the most out of your turns. After all, these enemies can also deal a lot of damage back.

Finally, we recommend that you hold onto your Ultimates until all of your characters have them. Once all your characters have them, use their Ultimates at the same time on enemies. You can combo your ultimates this way to do some devastating damage.

At the same time, you want to keep an eye on your team’s HP. Use Yuta’s Healing moves when you see that your HP is getting low, otherwise it’s game over! Keep maximizing your damage and you should be able to beat the Area Survey Quest on Very Hard.
