Sons of the Forest is the sequel to the survival game that took the world by storm back in 2014, when YouTubers like PewDiePie, Vanoss, Jacksepticeye, and more brought attention to the game. Now, after 9 years of waiting, The Forest finally gets another installment titled Sons of the Forest.
This is a sequel to the 2014 installment, and it will feature many new features that the previous title did not have, but it will also feature many of the familiar gameplay features, like combining items. If you need a refresher, then this guide is for you.
Sons Of The Forest – How To Combine Items
In order to combine items, you will need to find some resources first.
It can be anything from sticks, knives, axes, and more. But the most important item you need in order to combine any item is duct tape. Make sure you find lots of duct tape if you plan on doing a lot of combining in the game.
Once you have the items you want, open your inventory and right-click on the duct tape. Do this first because this is the base of all of the items you can combine together.
Once you have the duct tape right-clicked, go to the cog symbol on the top right of the middle space. You will be able to see all the items you can combine there.
Now in order to craft a Bow, you will need duct tape, rope, and 2 sticks. Right-click on all the required items until they appear in the middle of the inventory and then go to the cog and right-click. You will then go through the animation process of combining the items to get a Bow.
That is basically the gist of how to combine items, but bear in mind that more complicated combinations will appear as you progress through the game. These are just the basics for when you are early in the game.
