If you’ve made it this far in Grounded 2, congrats, you’re almost at the end. But first, you’ll need to find your way into the somehow-hard-to-find Network Center to kick off the final story quest: Networking. It’s hidden deep in a maze of pipes, branches, scorpions, and a weird red ribbon that somehow makes sense. Kinda. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the full route, including where to start, how to dodge (or Mario-hop over) enemies, and how to finally reach the Network Center entrance without getting lost or yeeted by a spider.
Tip: Do this in the daytime. Trust me. Doing it at night is a total nightmare. 🙏
How to Enter Network Center for Networking Quest
Start at the cement tube entrance shown on the map (eastern side of the world). Hop on your Ant Buggy and head inside the pipe. Go straight through the tunnel, ignoring most enemies along the way — unless you really want to fight everything that moves. 🐜💨
Take the first right, then look for some vines on your left. Use your mount to chop through them and continue forward.
The Rock Maze
Once through the vines, you’ll enter a small maze section. It’s not too complex — just keep heading left, and you’ll find a couple chests and pink goo (grab it if you want, I won’t judge).
I skipped most loot to focus on the main path, but don’t miss any Raw Science lying around — free science is good science.
Torch out? Check. Brain off? Also check. Time to bounce your way through bugs like it’s a platformer. Jump over ants and dodge scorpions, they hit hard and love to block the path. You’ll need to climb upward while weaving through tight tunnels. Buggy makes this faster, but you can do it on foot.
Follow the Hose
Eventually, you’ll see a green garden hose, follow it. Dodge the scorpion nearby (or bait and stomp it), then continue along the path. You’ll reach a small building with healing items (granola bars) if you need a breather.
Exit, grab any Raw Science, then break through another wall.
The Red Ribbon Path
Break the wall, then follow the red ribbon trail leading to a branching tree path.
Eventually, you’ll spot a boss: Lieutenant Blade. Take it down, then continue along the ribbon until you reconnect with the tree branches. There are spots near the ribbon path where you can AFK bow farm it safely.
Keep climbing upward, fight through any ORC Weavers or mosquitoes, and you’ll eventually see a giant maple leaf you can use to reach the statue.
Reaching the Network Center
Once on the statue, hug its perimeter until you find a white fuse box. Hop onto it to get to the next level. From there, climb the ladder and boom, you’re inside the Network Center. 🎉
Quest objective complete: “Enter the Network Center”. Now it’s time to climb your way to the top and take on what’s waiting for you.
Buggy can’t follow you in, so say goodbye (for now).
Networking Quest Breakdown
Here’s what to expect after entering:
- Reach the Top Floor – Climb through the center and prepare to face General Berserker, a Cockroach Queen boss.
- Defeat the Masked Stranger & Bandit – A two-boss showdown at the top.
- Find BURG.L’s Head – Interact with it and speak to Sloan via the terminal to finish the quest.
This mission wraps up Grounded 2’s main storyline, and it’s loaded with loot and lore. Here are some tips before you proceed:
- Don’t rush the inside of the Network Center! There are tapes, files, and lore collectibles everywhere.
- Praying Mantis Cheese: There are spots near the ribbon path where you can AFK bow farm it safely.
- Ramp Puzzle Bug? If the ramps don’t appear after killing the O.R.C. Roach, your game might be bugged.
Wrap-Up
Reaching the Network Center is one of Grounded 2’s wildest traversal challenges — you’ll climb, jump, break walls, bounce on ants, and probably question your pathfinding skills at least twice. But it’s also one of the most rewarding missions in the game.
