As we know, many console gaming fans have not yet switched to the PS5 console, i.e. most of them have remained on their PS4 consoles which unfortunately are not perfect and have their own problems that need to be solved. Don’t get me wrong PS4 proved to be a great platform but still had a lot of overheating issues and bugs that needed to be fixed.

Fix PS4 No Signal, Black Screen & Flickering

To solve the problem “No signal” or the problem with the black screen you need to do the following. You must first unplug your PS4 completely and unplug all cables from all ports on your PS4.

Then it is advisable to connect your PS4 to the TV with a new HDMI cable. You can also connect the HDMI cable to another port in case the problem is with the port itself.

After 10 minutes, reconnect all cables. Next, turn on your PS4 in safe mode by holding the power button for 7 to 10 seconds. Then, connect your joystick to your PS4 via USB cable.

Next, press the PS button that will take you to ‘’Safe Mode’’ and select change resolution. This will restart your PS4 and then let you select a resolution, it is best to select automatic.

For the flickering of your screen you can try to go to ‘’Settings> Sound and Screen > Video Output Settings > Deep Colour Output and switch this to off.

These steps should solve your problem with the no signal, black screen and flickering.
