There are a lot of games out there that have collectibles that you can find all over the map. Some games make this the main gameplay loop that players go through, looking for secrets in each level. It can be fun, but also annoying if you can’t find one of them!
In Find The Geometry Dash Difficulties, the main point of the game is to look for hidden difficulties in each zone. Some of them are easy to find but some are harder to find than others, like the Abysmal one.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can find the Abysmal difficulty in the game. We’ll go through what you’ll need to do to get it and where to find the codes needed. Now, let’s see what we’ll need to do!
How To Get Abysmal
When you get to Zone 8, you’ll want to enter through the main entrance of the castle and stick to the left wall. There, you’ll find a ladder that goes up as shown in the image above. Use it to get on top of the walls of the castle.

Once on top, you’ll want to follow the wall towards the entrance and then continue onwards until you reach the area shown below. Use the elevated part of the wall to jump into the balcony of the castle and then go down the ramp.
After going down the ramp, go to left and look at the side of the ramp. Use the toggle button to the right of your screen to see the hidden numbers. There are two numbers, the first one is a Roman numeral that shows the position of the second number shown.
So, for example in the image below, the number “6” is the second number of the code. The code is randomly generated, so you’ll have to hunt them down yourself, but we’ll show you where they are.
Now, go back to the balcony and then drop down and head to the left. There, you’ll find this pedestal as shown below and on one side is another number. Make sure to list it all down!
The next number is inside the castle. Go inside and from the throne room go to the left where you’ll see a ramp going up. There, you’ll find an upside-down picture of a skull. To the right of it is a whole where another number can be found.
Follow the path hugging the wall around the room and cross the top of the bookcase as shown below. You’ll then find a path that goes up, climb up, and then you’ll see another room. Inside that room is a smaller room with a bed.
Beneath the bed is another number for the code. That’s 4 numbers in total, we’ll need to find more!
After getting the last number head outside of the castle and then turn left to where you find the pedestal with a number. Continue following the castle wall as shown below until you find that corner.
Face the wall and you’ll see the next number for the code!
Face away from where the previous number was and continue following the castle wall to the right. You’ll eventually go to a grassy area with a tent and another number will be inside of it.
There are other tents in the area and another one will have another number for you!
Getting Topaz and Unlocking The Subzone
Now that you have the code, we’ll need to unlock the subzone. To do that, you’ll want to head to Zone 7 and then face the big tree with a thick trunk. Go up the platforms as shown below and head to the waterfall.

At the base of the waterfall is a Topaz, get it and then head back to Zone 8.
After that, head to the castle again and then this time head to the cauldron to the right of the throne room. You’ll need to interact with it to unlock the subzone.
Obtaining Abysmal
After unlocking the subzone, use the Teleport to go to the Zone 8 subzone. Once you spawn in, you’ll go to this dark corridor where there’s a doorway with the “Topaz” name on it. Go through and then turn left.
You’ll find a door and a code text box on top of it. Place the code you’ve found earlier making sure each number is in the correct position. Then, press the Submit button to open it. When you get there, you’ll see a wall that is too high to jump over.
Go back to where you spawned and then head to the other hallway where there’s a white button. That’s where you can spawn a block as shown below.
You’ll need to push the block to the wall that was blocking your way, but be careful as there are hazards on the floor. The block can’t touch any of the light-colored floor tiles or you’ll have to do it again.
Push the block through the hallway with hazards and then finally place it next to the wall, so you can jump over it. On the other side is the Abysmal and you can just touch it to finally get it!
