At some point in your run, you’ll need to go to the Hagga Rift Canyon in Dune Awakening. This area features quest objectives, some great loot and end game materials that you absolutely need to progress with the game. However, this area can feel like a maze and difficult to get out of once you actually get inside. There are a few ways you can get out of it, but they are not immediately obvious. In this guide, we’ll show you two ways in which you can get out of the Hagga Rift Canyon. With that said, let’s get into it!

How to Get Out of the Hagga Rift Canyon

You can get out of the Hagga Rift Canyon in a variety of ways in Dune Awakening. In fact, you can even climb out of it but this is extremely dangerous and difficult – especially with limited stamina.

So, we’ll be going over two ways that were actually intended to get out of the Hagga Rift Canyon. We won’t be using the ornithopter though to show you that even early game players can get out.

Before you leave though, be sure to get Erythrite Crystals as they are crucial for progression later on. Check out our where to find erythrite crystals guide, so you don’t leave the Hagga Rift Canyon empty handed!

Method #1 – Exit Via Outposts

The first and likely the main intended method is by using outposts. Throughout the Hagga Basin Canyon, you’ll come across outposts that look bunkers. We’ve marked two of them on the map below:

  • The Spiral
  • Abernath’s Descent.

You can go to any of these – whichever one is closest to you. They all have a similar structure inside so the method is the same of getting out.

Once you arrive at the outpost, head inside through the entrance. After you get inside, you should see a large set of stairs that go all the way up. In fact, going all the way up can take you a couple of minutes.

So, all you need to do is keep heading up until you reach the top of the outpost.

When you’re on the top, open the map and you should find that you are above the Hagga Rift Canyon. From here, you can simply follow a slope up and you’ll be out of the canyon.

We’ve marked the path that you can follow when exiting from the top of The Spiral. You can find a similar path for Abernath’s Descent as well.

Method #2 – Leave Using Jabal Slope

For the second method, you can exit the Hagga Rift Canyon through the west. The rift gradually goes up a slope that enters the Jabal Eifrit Al-gharb area. We’ve marked the slope in the map below.

However, actually going to this area on foot can take a lot of time, especially if you are on the other end of the canyon. So, it is strongly recommended that you have a vehicle that you can drive there.

Drive the vehicle up the slope and you’ll gradually start exiting the canyon. Eventually, you’ll end up in the Jabal area and you’ll be able to continue with your journey!

Leaving Hagga Rift Dune Awakening

That’s everything you need to know about getting out of the Hagga Rift Canyon in Dune Awakening. You can go for any of these methods – whichever one is convenient for you. We recommend going with whichever one is closest to save time. Eventually, you should be able to get an Ornithopter that should make exiting and entering much easier!
