Grow A Garden on Roblox has yet another event that adds some new content to the game. The Bizzy Bee Event is here and you can now get a new type of mutation on your plants. That’s right, you now have the opportunity to grow pollinated plants – which add a multiplayer to the value. However, quite a few players still can’t figure out the exact method of growing pollinated plants. Not to worry, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you all the steps you need to follow to get pollinated plants. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

How to Get Pollinated Plants

You can use two methods to grow pollinated plants in Grow a Garden. If you have not obtained any pollinated plants or fruits yet, then you will need to rely on the first method. This is because you will need to use the pollinated plants to get Honey.

Honey acts like the event currency during the Bizzy Bee event. After you have Honey, you will be able to do the second method.

If you’re looking to get honey too, check out our how to get honey guide.

Method #1 – Swarm Event

During the Bizzy Bee event, when you to the center of the map, you will see that there are new things to interact with. This includes a timer that indicates the Swarm Event.

To get pollinated plants, you will need to wait for the Swarm Event timer to run down completely. When the Swarm Event begins, bees will come out of their hive and go to your garden. The Swarm Event begins every 60 minutes.

After spawning, there is a chance for crops in your garden to get the Pollinated (3x) mutation. So, by getting the Pollinated mutation, your crops will increase in value by x3.

You can tell the crop is Pollinated because it will turn yellow and start shining.

However, the real value with Pollinated Crops is that you can use it to make Honey. Additionally, you get honey by the weight of the pollinated crops. You need at least 10kg of pollinated crops to get honey.

So, we recommend that you plant heavier crops if you want to maximize getting honey.

Some players have reported that none of their crops have become Pollinated during multiple Swarm Events. This could just be bad luck – or it could be some glitch happening across certain servers.

In fact, players have also reported that no bees appeared for them either. Hopefully, the developers do end up fixing this issue so that players do not miss out on pollinated crops.

Method #2 – Bee Pets

Using the previous method, try to get a bunch of pollinated plants and plenty of honey. After that, you can actually further increase the rate of pollinated plants you get. To do this, you will need to obtain Bee pets.

There are a bunch of Bee pets, that you can obtain from the Bee Egg. One Bee Egg will cost you x18 Honey. You can use most of these pets to pollinate crops, or add other unique Mutations

Below is a breakdown of the bee pets and the mutations you can get. Keep in mind that numbers can vary a bit depending on your luck after you get the pet!

  • Bee (Uncommon)
    • 65% chance to spawn from Bee Egg
    • Every 24:49m, flies to a nearby fruit and pollinates it, applying the Pollinated mutation.
  • Honey Bee (Rare)
    • 25% chance to spawn from Bee Egg
    • Every 19.52m, flies to a nearby fruit and pollinates it, applying the Pollinated mutation.
  • Bear Bee (Mythical)
    • 5% chance to spawn from Bee Egg
    • Every 25:00 minutes, it approaches a nearby fruit, causing it to mutate into Honey Glazed
    • Honey Glazed applies a x5 Sheckles Multipler
  • Petal Bee (Legendary)
    • 4% chance to spawn from Bee Egg
    • Every 24:46m flies to a nearby fruit and pollinates it, applying Pollinated mutation!
    • 1.17% chance Flower type fruit stays after harvest!
  • Queen Bee (Divine)
    • 1% chance to spawn from Bee Egg
    • Every 15-25 Minutes, a nearby fruit becomes magically pollinated, applying the Pollinated mutation.
    • Every 30 Minutes, a random pet will refresh its cooldown.

So, by getting any of these pets (excluding the Bear Bee), you will be able to increase your chances of getting Pollinated Plants. Keep in mind that there are other variants of these pets too with their own mutations, such as Golden Bees.

Try to have as many of these pets all around your garden. You will be able to grow multiple pollinated plants in this way. Of course, the rarer the pets, the better will be your gains.
