With all the exploration you’ve been doing for the past forty-eight hours by now, you should’ve come across areas of interest that you can’t access yet.
These can range from a simply locked chest that you’re just too low-level to handle at the moment or a place that’s completely sealed off until special conditions are met.
Let’s not even get started with the doors! These wooden contraptions along with their metal hinges are what’s preventing you from doing a clean sweep of an area, now you have to go back for a second trip.
If you find these instances mildly perturbing then it would be best to learn Alohomora!
Hogwarts Legacy | How to Get Unlocking Alohomora Spell
The best friend of a budding thief! Even most professors agree that the spell is used for no good at times.
Naturally, you’re expected to progress through a bit of the story if you want to have access to some of your basic spells. Let’s see what needs to be done!
Now you will have to play the game until the season changes to autumn.
Sometime after that, you will receive a letter from Gladwin Moon that allows you to start the quest of The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament. You can find him in the Reception Hall.
He’ll need your help looking for Demiguise statues and will teach you the Alohomora spell in order to do so.
Once you break through your first set of locks you will be taken to a minigame where your dexterity will be tested.
All you have to do is to move your left and right stick around until you hit a sweet spot that you have to hold as you need both green and red to light up to lift the lock.
If you want to get past the higher-level locks then you will have to find more Demiguise statues for Sir Moon. A good lot of them are scattered around Hogsmeade and the smaller towns throughout the valley.
Now go, those comically large locks won’t open by themselves!
