In the current 5.3 version of Genshin Impact, players can collect a total of 5 Blazing Flint Ores as rewards from the tribes. Before you proceed to make attempts to acquire the ore, players must first unlock the Natlan reputation system through the Natlan Archon Quest “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun Scorched Sojourn”
Once that’s completed, let’s see how one can acquire the blazing flint ore!
How to Get & Use Blazing Flint Ore
You get rewarded the Blazing Flint Ore in Genshin by reaching Level 4 reputation in each Natlan Tribe. Players then use the ore to upgrade the Pyro Traveler’s constellations.
You get an ore every time you reach level 4 reputation in each tribe. You can visit each tribe by searching for the Triangle symbol shown on the map below:
Leveling Up Reputation
In version 5.3, there are a total of five tribes that reward you with the blazing ore upon reaching the maximum level.
- Children of Echoes
- Scions of the Canopy
- People of the Springs
- Masters of the Night-Wind
- Flower-Feather Clan
The last tribe is the “Collective of the Plenty” but is not available yet. Players can acquire the last blazing ore once the game releases this sixth tribe.
After finishing a reputation level in a certain tribe, you can claim rewards, the final reward being the blazing ore.
When you visit the triangle marker on the map, you can talk to the NPC and ask to be assigned tasks to increase your reputation in the tribe.
You’ll end up participating in tribal chronicle quests, supplying notices, accepting bounties, or simply exploring their inhabited region.
Using Blazing Flint Ore
You use the blazing ore by offering it to the Lord of the Night. Doing so improves the Pyro traveler’s Pyro abilities. Visit the Throne of the Primal Fire in Ochkanatlan.
Use your traveler and offer the ore to the lord of the night.
This will allow you to upgrade the Traveler’s constellations, which gives your traveler additional bonuses outside of its existing pyro effects. The initial constellations after unlocking Pyro are only effective against the Lord of the Eroded Primal Fire boss. Therefore, you’ll need all Blazing Flint Ores to use the traveler’s pyro constellations.
So go ahead and increase your reputation to max level in each tribe and collect every Blazing Flint Ore you can get! You’ll need that Pyro upgrade.
