Dead By Daylight – How To Improve At Looping Fast

Looping in essence is the art of confusing the heck out of the Killer while at the same time, using as few resources as possible. Here are 3 tips to improve your looping in Dead By Daylight.

  • Always look behind.

There are many players that fixate on a straight vision while looping the Killer, this is not good. Looking behind gives you important information during the chase such as the distance between you & killer as well as the Killer’s movement pattern. If you always look to the front, more often than not, the Killer will outmaneuver you.

Having enough information will make your decision-making better too. Looking behind also gives you information on whether to use a pallet or not.

  • Plan out your looping path.

Before the chase or while doing objectives, take a mental note of your surroundings. Locating the perfect looping path, Killer’s shack, pallets, main building and other stuff makes you an above-average looper. Always knowing where you want to go next makes it easier to avoid being downed by the Killer.

  • Patience, young padawan.

A lot of players will begin to panic once the chase has begun which leads to wasting pallets and health. Being patient combined with the other tips improves your decision-making to successfully juke the Killer. In one scenario, doing a full 180 to fake pallet drop also gives you more space from the Killer as they will take a step back to avoid the drop.

Also, staying still confuses the Killer since they will always try to predict your move.

Another thing that can improve your looping is to play both sides. Killer point of view helps you understand whether a loop is good or bad then take notes of what to do and what not to do.
