In LOTR Return To Moria, you will go on an adventure to discover every single secret in Moria. During this journey, you will gather a lot of items, anything necessary that will greatly aid your journey ahead. This is why inventory size matters the further you progress into the game.
However, your inventory size is very limited at the very beginning of the game. In this guide, we will show you some of the steps on how you can increase your carrying capacity. With a bigger inventory size, you will be able to gather rare and valuable resources.
How To Increase Inventory Space
One of the biggest issues you may have early game is that there is not enough inventory space for you to do anything.
To expand your inventory slots, first, go to the first area of the game in The Western Halls. You will also be able to spot an Elf Statue pretty far away.
There, you will be able to receive a quest that tells you to come to a Forge. Once you are there, most of the trees nearby will be breakable.
You can then chop those trees down and you will be able to get pieces of Elven Wood which are materials required for you to create a Workbench.
To craft a Workbench, you will need 2 Iron Ingots and 15 Elven Wood.
Moreover, Iron Ingots are also relatively easy for you to find since you will need to gather plenty of them when doing the game’s tutorial. You can also find them by looking for the red marks on cave walls.
In the Workbench, you will be able to craft Adventurer’s Packs to expand your inventory spaces. To create them, you will need a total of 8 Hides. There are two different methods for you to get Hides:
- In the Elven Area, which we have mentioned earlier, you can also find monsters and animals like deer or stags. You can eliminate those creatures and receive Hides as drops. This is your main way of getting Hides as an early game player.
- Once you have reached the mid-game, you will be able to unlock the Loom recipe. You can then use the Loom to turn Hide Scraps into actual Hide. This is the second method you can go for as you progress further into the game and are able to craft the Loom bench.
When you first start, you will only have 10 inventory slots. This number will be increased further to up to 25 inventory slots maximum.
This means that to fully expand your inventory, you will need to gather a total of 120 Hides. It may sound like a lot, but you will eventually have all of them in no time.
That is how you can increase your inventory space in Lords of The Rings: Return To Moria. Increasing your inventory size is one of the main tasks you’ll want to prioritize early on. This is because it will let you bring more items at the same time, making it convenient for you to manage your resources.
