How To Make A Tent In Sons Of The Forest

Having a tent is essential in camping and surviving in the wilderness of the forest in Sons of the Forest. While it may not offer total protection against anything that is out to kill you, it can offer you a place to sleep, shade from the scorching heat during the day, and cover from the rain.

Getting a tent in Sons of the Forest is not hard, but how can you do it? You have a manual with pictures on it, but it can be pretty confusing for those who are not familiar with the gameplay mechanics of the game.

Sons Of The Forest – How To Make A Tent

Grab a Stick and a Tarp

The only thing you will need to create a tent is a Tarp and a Stick (you can use two if you want). Once you have those, then you are pretty much ready.

All you have to do to get a tent is to first open your inventory and select the Tarp. Back in the game, place the Tarp anywhere on the land.

Once you have the Tarp on the ground, look at the corners of the Tarp with the Stick equipped until you see an arrow that points up. Interact with it and you can then the Stick to prop the Tarp up.

There you have it, your tent. You can use another Stick to prop up another corner, but one is good enough.
