While consoles offer steady performances and are much cheaper in nature, nothing truly beats gaming on a PC. It doesn’t really matter if you don’t have the recommended specs for a game, because you can always just lower the graphics to get better performance, something console gaming doesn’t allow.
There’s also the number one reason to play on PC: mods. Modding is the act of “modifying” the game’s files to change character models or animations. In this guide, we will be showing you how to mod Hogwarts Legacy and do anything you want.
Modding Beginner’s Guide – Hogwarts Legacy
The first step to modding Hogwarts Legacy is by adding the ~mods folder in the Paks folder of the game. Go to where you installed Hogwarts Legacy and click on Phoenix -> Content -> Paks. From here, create a new folder and name it ~mods.
The “~” in the mods folder is important, as the mods will not work if you are missing it.
Now that you have the mods folder in the game’s directory, the next step is to get a mod. You can choose whichever mod you want on Nexus Mods, which is currently the only modding site with the most mods.
Do you want to use a Glock instead of a wand? You can find that here. How about a broom that lets you fly the skeleton of Cedric Diggory? Morbid, but entirely possible.
There are other mods that are not available on Nexus Mods, however. Like the infamous mod that lets you attack and kill students and teachers in Hogwarts.
As far as I know, you will have to pay to get that mod, as it is locked behind a Patreon. But everything else? Nexus Mods is where you want to go for the best Hogwarts Legacy mods.
