After playing Lords of the Fallen 2 for a while, you may start realizing that you cannot really pause the game. There are no proper functions that do that with the game being your typical hardcore, RPG game. But there is actually a way to pause the game when you have to, for example, leave to get the door or pick up the phone. Here’s how.
How to Pause the Game
You can pause Lords of the Fallen by going into picture-taking mode. This mode allows you to take a clean screenshot from the game in all its Unreal Engine glories. And while doing this, the game will be paused until you quit the mode.
To enter the Photo Mode, open your character’s interface and press P for the Photo Mode.
On the controller, it will be the left stick and you can see your game paused. Also, Photo Mode is accessible while you’re reading the Journal.
This is the only as-legit-as-possible method to pause the game. Of course you can always choose to not exploit this and let whatever happen, happen.
