Just like with tree stumps, ice can be an eyesore if they are not part of your vision of what you want your village to look like. Sure, they look pretty, but if they are not what you want for your village, then they will look out of place. However, there is a way to remove it, but you need help from the Ice Queen herself, Elsa. To do that though, you will need to do a lot of things first. If you need help to remove ice, then follow this guide and we will show you how.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – How to Remove Ice
In order to break the ice, you need to have Elsa and her quest “Breaking the Ice” (appropriately named, might I add). To do that, you need to get Anna’s Friendship Level to 2, which will then make Anna invite Elsa over to stay in the village. Talk to Elsa, and she will give you the quest.
The first step in the quest is to collect ingredients to create the Warmth of Summer Potion. To do that, you will need a Vial of Ocean Water, 5 Sunflowers, 5 Lemons, 2 Sugarcanes, and 3 Garlics.
Starting off with Garlic, you will need to bring a Forager with you. In this case, we will bring Anna. She can efficiently get you more Garlic when she picks it out of the ground, saving you time of having to pick one every time you come across Garlic.
Next up is Lemon Tree. Refer to the image above to find what a Lemon Tree looks like. You need 5 of these, but you don’t really need to have Anna around for this. But since this is a Frozen quest, it’s best to have her around for more immersion.
For the next three items, you need to go to Dazzle Beach. For the Vial of Ocean Water, you can just go to this spot in the beach and get the item. Sunflowers can be found in Dazzle Beach, but only a few of them are there. If there aren’t enough Sunflowers, you can find them in the Meadow or the Plaza. Lastly is Sugarcane, which you can buy the seeds from Goofy’s stall in the beach and grow them quickly.
Go to a Crafting Station and craft the Warmth of Summer Potion. Once you have it, go to Elsa and give it to her. She will then grant your pickaxe the ability to break ice.
Using this new ability, you can now enter the Ice Cavern in Breaking the Ice quest.
