There are a total of 3 variants that you can go for when completing this challenge. Here we shall present each of them.

Chess Puzzle Variant #1

This is the location where you shall need to come to be able to find this cave and puzzle location. It will be on the very east side of the map right next to the edge of the mountains.

To enter it just hit the 2 structures on each side as much as you can with Depulso and the entrance will open up.

Once you get inside and go to the bottom of the cave where the Chess Puzzle will be, just turn the cube on the left into a horse.

Now use Winagrdium Leviosa to move the horse in exactly the same position as shown in the picture above.

This will get you to win the Chess game and in terms open up the cheesy and reward for lotting. On to the next one!

Chess Puzzle Variant #2

If you don’t want to use a horse, you can use a cannon instead.

So, just turn it into a cannon, the cube that is in the corner behind, and then place it just in the same location as the one shown above.

This will also win you the game and spawn a chest to loot.

Chess Puzzle Variant #3

The last variant that you can use for this puzzle to be over with, is a hunter.

Simply turn a vase into a hunter and place it in exactly the same location as shown here. This will also get you to win the chess game and pick up the reward.
