Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a brand new JRPG with a whole lot of recruitable characters and a vast world to explore, and with that comes a bunch of puzzles and minigames that you will need to do for 100% completion. In this guide, we’ll be showing you how to operate the elevator in the Abandoned Mine so you can proceed with the rest of this early game quest!
How to Use the Second Elevator in the Abandoned Mine
At some point early on in the game, you are going to find yourself in the Abandoned Mine. There is a whole lot of useful accessories, money, and resources scattered throughout this area, but they are hidden behind a few simple minecart puzzles.
Later on, shortly after meeting the merchant named Hiro (who sells some useful stuff), you will eventually stumble into a roadblock in the form of a bridge/elevator that won’t let you through.
The solution is very easy, and it involves using two minecarts with rocks loaded on top of them near the save point. Your party members will actually give you a pretty obvious hint the first time you go here.
All you need to do is place both of the minecarts on the bridge. But first, if the minecart up north does not have a rock on it, push it up to the wall so that one falls on top of it.
Then, pull it right onto the bridge until your character stops moving. Make sure that you pull it, otherwise you will be stuck on the other side if you push.
Finally, push the other minecart down south until it stops beside the other one. Once it is in place, push the button to the left of the elevator and it should descend, revealing the path forward to the west.
As you make your way through to this part of the Abandoned Mine, you will be closing in on a very useful item for grinding. Check out our guide on where to find the Growth Badge in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes for more information about this!
And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to proceed to the next section of the mines in this early game location. Check out our guide on how to recruit Cassandra in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes as well, as she is one of the better support characters in the game!
