Complete Beginner’s Guide
There are always going to be some things you need to understand when you first start playing a game. Let’s start with the basics, and then move to the other features of Jujutsu Shenanigans.
Game Controls
First, let’s start with the controls. Check out the list below to see which keys you are going to need to use to perform certain things.
- M1: Melee Combo
- 1, 2, 3, 4: Skills
- Q: Dash (use in stun to escape)
- F: Block
- R: Special
- W+W: Sprint (automatically avoids obstacles)
- G: Awaken
Characters
There are three different characters you can get in the game that will provide you with special moves and skills. We are going to take a look at these characters individually. First, let’s see what their names are.
- Honored One (Gojo)
- Vessel (Yuji/Sukuna)
- Restless Gambler (Hakari)
Honored One (Gojo)
The Honored One is one of three playable characters, modeled by Satoru Gojo from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. It has five base moves, and five awakened moves.
Base Moveset
- Lapse Blue: The user extends his hand and pulls in the attacker, then kicks them into the air. This can be followed by the Special, which teleports the user to the enemy and kicks him to the ground. This move is blockable.
- Reversal Red: The user launches a little red ball that detonates upon contact with any object. If the Special is used immediately after, the user will teleport behind the enemy and use it. Though it still causes some damage. The enemy can block this move as well.
- Rapid Punches: User grabs enemy and performs a combo on them. This can be blocked and will send the enemy flying at the end.
- Twofold Kick: After kicking the opponent twice, the user kicks them up and then down, sending them flying. The first kick is blockable, but the second is not. If the enemy is ragdolled, this picks them up off the ground.
- Special: The user uses teleportation to reach the enemy. You can use it in conjunction with other skills like lapse blue or reversal red. This can be followed by any skill right away. Takes a tiny bite off of the ultimate bar.
- We have a dedicated guide which covers Gojo’s Special Ability, make sure to check it out as well!
Awakened Moveset (Six Eyes)
You can press G to awaken when the bar above your powers fills up completely.
- Lapse Blue MAX: When used, it releases a blue ball that sucks in everything. Will remain in place if something dies inside of it, providing the player or anybody else with the opportunity to use Reversal Red MAX.
- When the user uses it in midair, they can use their mouse to control the ball’s movement.
- Reversal Red MAX: You release a narrowed crimson laser that pushes and damages everything in its path. Increases in damage as the target gets closer to the caster. It will create a Hollow Nuke if used after a Lapse Blue MAX destroys something, and doing so will require an entire Awaken bar.
- When the user uses it midair, they can aim it with their mouse and levitate for a brief period of time. This allows them to spam max red without any cooldown and effectively fly.
- Hollow Purple: User combines the techniques Red and Blue to create a large purple ball that the user shoots wherever they look, disintegrating anything in their way. Does not oneshot if in full health
- Infinite Void: You pull anyone around you into a domain. This domain stops any and all movement from enemies, effectively dooming them.
- Special – Hollow Purple 200% (Hollow Nuke): If the user kills a player with Lapse Blue MAX and then shoot Reversal Red MAX into the Lapse Blue MAX, it would create a hollow purple which will cause AOE damage and depending on how close you are, you can get one shotted if you are near and you can get little to no damage if you are far away from it.
Vessel (Yuji/Sukuna)
Vessel is a character based on Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen. Its final form is inspired by Sukuna, the King of Curses. Just like Gojo, this character also has five base move and five awakened move.
Base Moveset
- Cursed Strikes: User charges at enemy, unleashing a barrage of strikes. The opponent in front of the user will be momentarily shocked when the combo is complete. This allows the user to perform another ability.
- When you use this ability in the air, the opponent will be instantaneously blocked and broken, transforming into a pound-esc move. Surprisingly, the enemy can still block the first form if it is you use it from behind when the opponent is blocking.
- Crushing Blow: User seizes adversary and twice slams them into the ground. This block snaps off instantly. When used in the air, the user leaps toward the adversary and double-smacks them into the ground.
- Divergent Fist: After taking a moment to grip the adversary, the user blasts them away. Breaks on the second strike, but doesn’t grab if the opponent is blocking. When used again as soon as the user’s hand returns, it blasts the enemy away right away, destroying blocks and doing a lot of damage.
- Manji Kick: This is a countermove. The user enters a short stance and, if hit, kicks the enemy away. If hit with a ranged move, the player runs toward the target before kicking them.
- Special: When you use this feint, any move you are presently using is cancelled, and the cooldown is refunded.
- It can be used as a psuedo mobility tool when combined with any move that propels you forward or as a bait to draw counters. Before the hitbox is released, you can use it whenever you want, but avoid cutting it too close.
Awakened Moveset
By hitting G, you can awaken once the bar with the words “King of Curses” is full. The awakening lasts for a minute.
- Passives: The M1s are replaced with a weaker version of dismantle and has a farther range.
- Dismantle: You cut the enemy with a hundred small cuts. This deals chip damage through block.
- Open: Before unleashing it, you use flame to make a bow and arrow. This move is incredibly long-range and able to pass through obstacles.
- This makes it powerful, and destroys whatever it comes into contact with. When it hits something, a massive pillar of flame bursts out.
- Rush: You charge toward your adversary, then launch them into the air and knock them out. This move passes through blocks, making it tough to defend against.
- Malevolent Shrine: You take a stand and draw anyone near you into your domain. The enemy’s only option once inside the area is to take the harm.
- The shrine in the center of the domain is the source of continuous cuts that can be prevented but still present a hazard.
- Special – World Slash: An unidentified move that needs to be activated by pressing a number of keys. The necessary keys are 1, 3, 2, and R, in that order.
- After pressing number three, the user’s avatar will become motionless and the phrases “Scale of the Dragon,” “Recoil,” and “Twin Meteors” will display over the avatar’s head.
- A slash that deals a significant amount of damage and ignores blocking will be hurled at the target once the chant is completed. However, you can cancel this move by simply hitting the caster once it starts.

Restless Gambler (Hakari)
This character is based off of Kinji Hakari from Jujutsu Kaisen. It currently requires the early access gamepass to use. The Restless Gambler is a little different than other characters. It has a five base move, and other moves that are based on scenarios.
Base Moveset
- Reserve Balls (Damage 7%): When the opponent is close to the player, the player can flick a little white projectile that ragdolls. It only stuns the target and deals light damage if the enemy is close.
- Shutter Doors (Damage 11%): The player summons two shutter doors, which paralyze any hit opponent. When the target’s health is low, it will execute a finisher move that splits the opposition in half.
- Rough Energy (Damage 14%): After slightly winding up their fist, the player smashes in front of the enemy. This causes damage and pushing the opponents they’ve hit away.
- R Special (Damage 3%): Once again, the player summons two shutter doors ahead of them. They will smash the doors into the attacker, knocking them away and dealing damage if they are struck by a close-range strike.
- Idle Death Gamble: A cutscene begins to play when the user opens their domain. During this moment, everyone inside the domain will be immobile and will see a popup that provides a brief overview of the domain’s functionality. Following the cutscene, everyone is free to roam the domain and use their movements as they like.
Once you use the Idle Death Gamble, there will be some rules in the domain. These are:
- Shutter doors, reserve balls, and the R special are all “Visual Moves”.
- A scenario from Richie comes to life when you use two visual moves.
- You unlock your Jackpot Mode by winning a richie scenario. You have to try again if you don’t succeed.
- Your jackpot mode will be unlocked on the fourth scenario if you fail the first three. Just making the move counts toward the visual move counter for both reserve balls and shutter doors. But you have to use your counter against an enemy in order for it to be considered a visible move.
Richii Scenarios are cutscenes that play to reveal whether or not you will succeed in obtaining Jackpot Mode. As of right now, there is just one Richii scenario.
- Transit Card Richii (☆☆★): A dummy is seen in this scenario approaching a train checkpoint. You unlock your Jackpot Mode if the dummy passes through the train checkpoint. You’ll need to try again if the dummy takes off flying.
Jackpot Mode
The user develops a green aura while music radiates from them. Their regeneration is substantially higher than the base mode. It virtually makes them immortal by out-healing all attacks.
- Lucky Volley (Damage 33%): The user launches a fast series of punches, followed by a strong blow that knocks the adversary out cold.
- Lucky Rushdown (Damage 12.5%): User accelerates their forward motion. When an adversary is grabbed, the user will drag them across the floor before hurling them.
Domains
Although they are powerful, domains are not unbreakable; they can be taken down by a single, strong move or by multiple actions that take out blocks.
The “Hollow Purple” move (not the “perfected Purple”) is one of the best ways of breaking a domain down. It can break the domain in some way from the outside or the inside, depending on the domain. For instance, the infinite emptiness will render you helpless from the inside, making it impossible to break from the inside, but you can destroy it from the outside.
Since you can still use moves within the “Malevolent Shrine,” you can also destroy it from the outside. However, before you do so, make sure you ragdoll the domain expander since if they attack you, you risk losing your Hollow purple.
For instance, every domain has health. With the maximum score of 800, Hakari’s domain moves like a diverging fist, capable of destroying maps and damaging other domains. A domain should produce a “clunk” sound if you succesfully did damage is successfully to it.
