Kengan is a multi-genre Roblox game with a big open world, excellent graphics, and mechanisms that set it apart from other game experiences. Your primary goal here is to survive in a large city while developing your character’s combat skills in order to face other players or frightening NPC bosses.
Since this game has a lot of features to offer to its players, some people might have difficulties understanding the game mechanics. In this Kengan Complete Beginner’s Guide, we are going to talk about all the things you need to know about this game to level up, get money, and everything more.
Complete Beginner’s Guide
Upon beginning a new game, you will need to spend some time to figure out all the game mechanics. Checking out the beginner’s guides can be helpful for speeding up this process. In this guide, we will take a look at the game controls.
Game Controls
Let’s start with the controls. Check out the list below to see which keys you will need to execute certain tasks in the game.
- M1: Light Attack
- M2: Strong Attack
- W + W: Sprinting
- C: Carry
- V: Rob
Game Progression
Like every other game, you need to do specific things in Kengan to progress in the game. For this progression to happen, you will have to focus on invests, rank experience points, ranks, and boss drops.
- Beginning the Game:
- At the beginning of the game, you can start by doing normal training that you can do in ranks 1 and 2. In order to do that, you can do quests, and grab thugs in the residential area for rank experience. This way, your experience gain will be a lot higher than normal training at a low rank.
- Invests:
- These can be obtained from various activities, but not everything you do in the game will result in an investment. Some activities provide more investment experience than others.
- You can get invests from quests, invasions, bosses, and gripping rank +5 players.
- Rank Experience Points:
- This is how you advance in rank after completing certain activities that award points; it also accumulates with further advancement.
- You can get rank experience points from quests, invasions, bosses, killing NPCs, and gripping rank +5 players.
- Ranks:
- The maximum rank for a normal player is 10, and the higher your rank, the harder it is to gain stats and the more rank experience you need.
- You only gain rank experience when all of your stats are maxed for your rank.
- Each rank-up gives you one upgrade that allows you to permanently increase any stat cap by 5%, creating a wide range of builds.
- Boss Drops:
- Currently, aside from the progression aspect of bosses, they solely drop accessories (legendary accessories included); however, this will be probably expanded in the future.
Stat Gains
In order to progress in Kengan, you will need to focus on your stat gains. There are x stats you can work on, and each of them requires different methods. If you go to the hospital, you can go into the emergency room and get a full-body evaluation, and you can observe your stat growth and strength.
- Strength: Boxing gyms offer sparring sessions, which help you gain strength.
- Durability: Pullups and durability training are two ways to increase your durability. You can perform pull-ups at the All Time Fitness and Boxing Gym.
- Agility & Stamina: Gain passively if you’re continually sprinting (you’ll need a Breathing Mask to gain any stamina). You can find the Roadworks NPC and Breathing Mask inside All Time Fitness to boost your agility/stamina even more.
- Focus: Mastering blocking gives you this. If you don’t have a teammate to help, we recommend practicing it with Thugs, as they are the weakest and simplest to target.
- Fat: To gain fat, eat J-Dogs; to reduce fat, consume smoothies.
- Muscle: To gain muscle, eat protein bars and do pullups. Eating chips can help you lose muscle mass.
Invasions
If you want to level up, gain money, and do a lot of other things, we highly recommend visiting The Invasion NPC. The invasions have five distinct difficulties. It is party-based, thus the more people in your party, the more difficult it is.
They presently have three different side quests and three separate main objectives (the Strong Thug NPC quest counts as a mini-boss and hence has accessory drops). You can initiate invasions by speaking with the Raid NPC outside the Boxing Gym.
