Killing Floor 2 is one of those games that is still going strong despite its age. It’s nice and easy fun to get into, pick a class, jump into a match and try to survive. The game is filled with all sorts of weapons to choose from, and different playstyles to try that you won’t get bored if you switch it up every now and then. The Gameplay is still solid as a FPS Wave survival game and it’s always a blast to play with friends. In this guide we’ll show you a weapon tier list for the Berserker, along with the new Blood Sickle weapon!
Berserker Weapons Tier List | New Blood Sickle | Killing Floor 2
The Berserker is one of those classes that has a low skill floor but also a high skill ceiling, great for anyone to play and a fun class to master.
It has an array of different melee weapons, some ranged weapons and some hybrid ranged/melee weapons for those who want something exotic! Here is a tier list of all the Berserk weapons in the game:
S – Tier
- Frost Fang – One of the best weapons for the Berserker, it freezes enemies which makes them an easy target. You can parry with the weapon and it’s also relatively cheap and light for what it can do.
- Hemoclobber – You know it’s a good weapon if it’s been nerfed multiple times. Despite the nerfs its still a solid choice, a healing bat that is lightweight so a great addition to your arsenal.
- Ion Thruster – The power attack has insane range and both its light and heavy attack are great. Overall a good pick.
A – Tier
- VLAD-1000 Nailgun – A very good and cheap weapon that has a shotgun mode that you can use. One of the better ranged options for the Berserker and you can even finish entire games with it.
- Pulverizer – A high burst damage weapon, great for killing enemies like Flesh pounders.
- Zweihander – Another solid weapon to pick, it has good reach, both its heavy and light attacks are great and overall a great weapon to get.
- Bone Crusher – Best blocking weapon in the game, which is obvious since it has a shield. It can block and Parry a lot of things with it, like the Patriarch’s Minigun or Husk Flames.
- Blood Sickle – The newest weapon for the Berserker it has a short and long range mode and has the highest reach in the game with both great light and heavy attacks. The hitbox can take a bit to get used to though.
- Eviscerator – High damage with its saw blades as well as an option to melee weaker enemies. It’s only downside is it’s pretty heavy.
B – Tier
- Crovel Survival Tool – A good weapon to get, you can easily finish entire games with just the Crovel. It does blunt damage which is the least resisted melee damage but not by that much. Overall a good baseline weapon.
- EMP Grenade – A very versatile grenade that doesn’t do a lot of damage but can do a lot to bosses since it stops them from using their special attacks.
- Piranha Pistol – It has decent damage and scales well, you can have one or two with the latter having more DPS. Not as great as the Nailgun but a solid choice.
- HRG Teslauncher – It deals microwave damage, has emp grenades and is overall a good ranged option. It’s lower in the list due to the price and the overall damage it does.
- Static Strikers – It takes a bit to get used to the block and parry window of this weapon. The heavy attack can give EMP status to enemies so it’s great for bosses.
C – Tier
- Katana – Once one of the best weapons in the game but with the changes it’s not an okay weapon. It excels in light attacks so if you like doing that then go with the Katana.
- Road Redeemer – The same damage as the Katana but with blunt damage and slightly slower swing rate. It also weighs more than the Katana.
- Fire Axe – Great attack swings and easy to use but it doesn’t really scale well like the other weapons in the list.
- Battleaxe – Heavy and slow, which is bad. It does hit hard, but the light attacks are a joke so focus on doing heavy attacks.
D – Tier
- Lawn Mower Blade – The worst melee weapon for the Berserker and is the base weapon. Often thrown out in favor of other weapons.
- 9mm Pistol – Another weapon that is only seen at the very start of the game and is often changed to a different weapon. Great for killing husk when starting, bad at everything else for the Berserker.
Congratulations you now know what are the best weapons for the Berserker in Killing Floor 2, now go out there and hit them hard!
