With a wide variety of classes and skill trees to go through along with being able to play with your friends, Last Epoch is yet another ARPG title that you would want to get your hands on as the game recently had a huge update with the spotlight being multiplayer.
Updates take a while especially for indie developers but with the changes that have been made, you may wonder if there’s anything you should be aware of when it comes to making your characters. Well, we got the answer for that so read on through if you want to keep things on the efficient side.
3 Best Starter Builds for 0.9 Multiplayer | Last Epoch
It’s very easy to make your own build, you just pick a skill for your class and grab some gear that goes with it, after that you should be good to go. Of course, there’s also the deep dive where you really take all the numbers into account if you really want to min-max everything.
Lightning Blast or Static Orb
A rather unusual build where you throw around Static Orbs and do an immense amount of damage as you dish out your lightning blast.
Mobility wise you’ll be lagging behind a bit and the mana cost will drain you constantly, going with this build also requires you to maintain your distance as your defense isn’t really that great.
Engaging enemies are quite fun however due to how easy it is to kill packs with little to no effort and the build itself is quite beginner friendly.
Shadow Cascade Bladedancer
What’s nice about the Shadow Cascade Rogue is how easy it is to shift on an extremely short cooldown using Smoke Weaver. This leads to a very fast playstyle that you can benefit from further by farming, with Synchronized Strike adding a ton of single target damage and can displace your locations which helps when dodging enemy abilities.
As your Shadow Cascades go off they also restore mana, which means managing your mana isn’t something you need to worry about too much for this build.
The only problem with this build is that you won’t be functioning as intended until you get your first Smoke Weaver.
Smite Hammerdin
Incredibly tanky and still mobile when using Shield Rush, you also have great recovery since you’re a Paladin so you can get away with standing in the middle of a minefield and live to tell the tale.
You can also play this build on a Void Knight and deal even more damage but it doesn’t have that much recovery.
Those are the three builds for three different playstyles, try them out for yourself or get experimental and start mixing and matching until you get the starter that works for you!
