Limbus Company – Guide To Abnormality Battles

Not your normal everyday battle!

There’s a new Gacha game out there and it’s one that’s a bit different than the others. Limbus Company is a game that’s made by the developers that also created Lobotomy Corporation. Instead of a Singleplayer management game though it’s a gacha game.

It has a really compelling story, fun and interesting characters, and some unique and complex gameplay. The gameplay can be so complex that it can get a bit confusing, in this guide we’ll show you how to do Abnormality battles in the game.

Guide To Abnormality Battles For Limbus Company

When playing through Limbus Company you might see enemies called Abnormalities. These enemies have their own mechanics and way of fighting them compared to other common enemies in the game. They have parts and skills and whatnot to learn as well as a different way of attacking them with your units.

This is how Abnormality battles are done.

When you start an Abnormality battle you might have noticed that your skill selection is different, you don’t chain skills anymore. Instead, you pick a skill from a unit and target an Abnormality.

Some Abnormalities have different parts, and these parts can have different skills and passives.

Speed is important in Abnormality battles because at the start you’ll see which enemy is attacking your units. You can then pick a unit with a higher speed rating and hopefully attack the abnormality forcing them to clash with a better result.

In short, abnormalities choose who to attack, you can instead choose a different unit to attack said abnormality for a clash.

When the HP of an Abnormality part reaches 0, it’s broken. That means it’s vulnerable to all physical attack types.

Some parts also lose passives and skills when broken so keep that in mind. There are also times when breaking a part enrages the abnormality so watch out for that.

Congratulations you now know the basics of Abnormality battles in Limbus Company, as you can see it can get quite complex and it’s part of the fun learning when you learn mechanics in the game!
