Loomian Legacy recently got a festive update just in time for Christmas, and this event will last all the way through January 2024. One of the main attractions of this event is the Jolly Festival Evergreen Maze, where you will have to do various tasks while avoiding the dangerous Nevermare.

How to Avoid Nevermare in Evergreen Maze | Jolly Festival 2023
The Nevermare will chase down players relentlessly through the maze as you navigate your way through it. Luckily, there are some ways you can guarantee your survival.
First up, the main shack can be used to hide from the creature whenever it is nearby. You will be rendered safe from the Nevermare as you duck inside this structure, even if it already chasing you.
Whenever it spots you, the music will change into something more tense, and you will hear its howls as it comes closer. The sounds will stop when it drops the chase and starts to leave.
Another way to keep it away from you, in case you aren’t near the shack, is to simply take sharp turns in corners where there are presents or other obstacles in the way.
Whenever you take a sharp turn into a corner with objects sticking out of the trees, there is a huge chance that the Nevermare will get stuck behind these obstacles, giving you more than enough time to gain some distance.
Juking The Nevermare
Although not entirely necessary due to how easy it is to outrun or hide from the Nevermare, you can also juke it if you need to get past it as it is chasing you.
Simply find a long enough clearing and run forward for a few seconds before very quickly strafing either to the left or right and then going straight backwards.
If you did it right, you should be able to see the Nevermare try to follow your exact movement as you are running backwards.
From there, you can simply turn around and keep running to wherever you need to go.
And that is everything you need to know when it comes to avoiding death within the event maze in Loomian Legacy. It is incredibly easy to outrun or trick the Nevermare, as long as you pay attention to the sound cues whenever it starts chasing you!
