They are vital for your journey, as they will help you survive your encounters with the denizens of Axiom and Umbral. If you’re on the lookout for the Crimson Rector Shield, I’m here to help. Crimson Rector Shield Location
In order to get the Crimson Rector Shield, you must make your way from the Sanctuary of Baptism to the Vestige of Chabui, both located within the Skyrest Bridge, which serves as the third area in the game.
Now, exit the Vestige, and turn right.
Keep going straight, and you’ll come across a ladder. You can either climb down or take a jump for faster progress, even though you’ll take some damage.
After that, turn left and keep moving forward. You’ll encounter wooden platforms, which you’ll need to jump across to reach the location.
It’s pretty much straight-forward from here until you reach the elevator. Stick to the path and jump across platforms.
When you reach the final platform, make a jump to cross the broken bridge, as shown in the image below. From there, just keep moving forward.
You’ll then come across a ladder, which you’ll need to climb up to.
You’ll then arrive at the elevator. Before getting in, I recommend checking the right corner of the room first in case you haven’t for the Bell Staff.
Inside the elevator, step on the button on the middle to go up.
When you arrive at the top, head straight and go down the stairs.
Turn right, and you’ll see a big stone bridge. Continue straight from there.
Eventually, you’ll reach a junction with two paths. Take the right path and use your lantern to access it.
Activate your lantern, move forward, and jump when you’re right on the top of the platform.
On this platform, you can see the Faithful Bludgeon as well near a corpse. Now to proceed, look to the left, and there’s an accessible passage.
To enter this passage, go to Umbral to reach the other side of the platform.
Keep going straight until you reach a junction with two different paths. Go to the left path to proceed.
Just keep heading straight and you’ll reach a junction once again. From here, go to the right path towards the stairs.
Again, keep heading straight and you’ll see a broken fountain. Look behind the fountain and you’ll see the Crimson Rector Shield near a corpse.
The shield boasts decent Holy resistance for early game, which requires 11 Strength and 9 Radiance.
