To be able to get the Master Angler title you are going to need to be patient and get all the fish that are in the game. There are a total of 86 fish that you need to acquire by fishing in the lakes, seas, and rivers and also both the variations, the golden and the giant ones.

To be able to get the most amount of fish in the shortest time you are going to want to be fishing in these locations and times:

  • Warm Ponds
  • Lakes
  • Daytime or Nighttime
  • Cold Ponds
  • The Ocean

The best location for finding the ponds is to head on over to the Palo Town map region. Another site to explore is the Forest of Cernunno, Shell Island, Ravenna, and Mount Othrys. In each of these places, you are the highest amount of % to get the most amount of fish.

The current and only cold pond that you can find is in the Whitesummit map region so you need to head on over to the snowy map region to get some of the fish.
