We’ve seen our fair share of remasters out there, some can stay faithful to the game while adding more to it like graphics and quality-of-life improvements, and some of them can be a complete miss.
Metroid Prime is one of the newest games that got a remaster treatment and it’s looking like it’s sticking close to its roots! With updated graphics, quality-of-life improvements, and no major change to anything important it’s what a remaster should be!
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all the Runic Symbols in one of the areas in the game!
Arboretum Runic Symbols Locations In Metroid Prime
The Arboretum is a large circular room with a giant tree in the middle, there are some hazards here and there and to progress you’ll need to go up.
From where you start you can go up the platforms around the giant tree making sure not to get hit by the vines.
Runic Symbols #1
The first rune in the area can be found near the first branch platform you encounter, below it is the rune-covered in some weeds so feel free to shoot it to remove it.
You can then scan it to get the rune.

Now go on top of the first branch platform and look at the tree trunk and you’ll see another rune there.

Continue through the level going through a “2D” section on the walls of the room and on the other side of that section is another rune you can scan.

The last room in the area is all the way up where you see the runes you’ve scanned, just opposite it is the last rune!
Congratulations you now know where all the runes are in this area in the Metroid Prime remake. Now go out there and try to find them yourself!
