The new Metroid Prime remaster is out on Switch so you don’t have to get your dusty old GameCube to play the game! The game features a whole graphical overhaul while also retaining the feel, mechanics, and gameplay of the original game. There’s no extra stuff here that players don’t want, it’s just a good old-fashioned remaster with a bunch of quality-of-life improvements for fans of the old game to enjoy.

For the new players though this game might be a bit confusing to play so in this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Plasma Beam in the game!

How To Get The Plasma Beam | Plasma Beam Location In Metroid Prime Remastered

There are a lot of different weapons and upgrades that can be found in the many places and locations in Metroid Prime. Almost all of them can be used to reach other places you couldn’t before so these upgrades aren’t just for combat, they’re for exploration as well! So you better keep an eye out for them and try to get them since this is how you progress through the game. This is where you can find the Plasma Beam in the game!

To get the Plasma Beam you’ll first need to head to the Watery Hall in the Chozo Ruins.

There you’ll see 4 runes that you need to scan in order to open the way to the upgrade. Good thing for you, we have a guide to do just that!

Once you’ve gotten all 4 symbols scanned you can then scan the middle symbol of the door and it’ll open up!

This will lead to a room that has the Plasma Beam upgrade in it! Now you can enjoy this new upgrade!
