There are many ways to visibly progress in MultiVersus, and that includes leveling up both your account and the different fighters in the game. In this guide, we will be showing you one way to quickly get both of these up, which will also come in handy with the current Power Pledge Drive event!
Best Way to Level Up Fast Guide
If you’re reading this guide on the day it was posted, then you still have a bit of time to complete the Power Pledge Drive event, which requires you to level up fighters in order to earn rewards.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t take into account those that you’ve already leveled up, so you’ll have to grind some more points if you are already pretty high up. Luckily, there are a few ways to quickly grind levels.
Method #1. Simply Playing PVP
The most obvious way is to, of course, just play normally. The downside to playing online matches is that you need to win in order to maximize your gains. This is because you barely progress if you lose.
If you need some help with the game’s mechanics, consider checking out our guide on how to parry in MultiVersus. If you are struggling with defense, this can help refine your skills and hopefully lead to more wins.
We also have quite a few tips on how to improve your skills that you might find useful. Tip #1 in that guide can be surprisingly very helpful if you play using a keyboard.
If you are pretty good at the game, this will undoubtedly be the best and most fun method of leveling up fast. As a fighting game, this is easier said than done for more casual players, and that’s where method #2 comes in.
Method #2. Cheesing Rift Minigames
If you want a method that is not only requires little to no effort, but is also essentially AFK-ish, then head on over to the Multiversal Mayhem rift. From here, choose any difficulty you want (Crushing is ideal, but not necessary).
From there, you’ll need to first progress enough to unlock the Shooting Gallery minigame (the one with the cannon). Once you can access it, this is where the grind truly starts.
Basically, just select whichever character you want to level up and shoot a single balloon. After that, simply wait for the timer to hit zero. That’s literally it, you don’t need to actually play the minigame after a single balloon pops.
On Crushing difficulty, each run will only take approximately one and half minutes. This will net you around 70 EXP regardless of how much you’ve scored. Just keep in mind that you must hit at least one balloon first.
It’s very cheesy, but it works and can be done semi-AFK. Just load up Netflix or something on another monitor and let the EXP passively roll in. You’ll get those level ups done in no time.
And those are pretty much all of the tips we can give you, as there really is not a lot else you can do at the moment to speed up the process. While you’re here, consider checking out our tips and tricks to improve in MultiVersus to help you out with the PVP aspect of the game.
