In MultiVersus, you’ll find yourself battling a variety of opponents – each with their unique move sets. If you weren’t familiar with it already, you can actually improve your character and unlock certain progression items. One of these items are Perks that can be used for additional boosts.
There are so many Perks that you can use in MultiVersus for all of your characters. So, what is the best perk in MultiVersus at the moment? In this guide, we’ll be going through the best perks for each character currently in the game. Let’s get into it!
What Is The Best Perk Guide
Unlocking a lot of Perks in MultiVersus is linked to your character’s mastery level. So, if you want to have access to all the Perks, you’ll want to level up all your characters as quickly as you can. Check out our Best Way To Level Up Fast Guide so you can get access to these Perks quickly!
With that said, we’ll be looking at the best Perks that you can get for each character. There are a total of 26 characters in the game, and we’ll go through each of them. That way, you can use Perks for your favorite characters!
Keep in mind that the Perks we are selecting are primarily on the basis of 1v1s. While quite a few of these Perks can be used for 2v2s in MultiVersus, our focus will be on the former. Feel free to use the Table of Contents if you’re only interested in a specific character.
Arya Stark
- Well-Rounded (Signature)
- Receive a 5% boost to damage dealt and defense
- Arya’s other Signature Perks do not provide enough value
- Press the Advantage
- Apply a stack of weakened when knocking back enemies above 125 damage.
- You will be using Arya to rush enemies a lot in MultiVersus, so this suits that style.
- Speed Force Assist
- You receive 4% increased base movement speed.
- Helps boost Arya’s fast paced attacks.
- Pugilist
- Increase Arya’s melee damage in MultiVersus.
Banana Guard
- Iron Temple (Signature)
- Banana Guard gains a projectile shield around him while he works out
- Perfect for his very simplistic bruiser style of play
- Snowball Effect
- 7% increased damage against the enemy with the highest damage.
- Perfect for taking advantage of his damage output
- Pugilist
- Increases his melee damage
- Last Stand
- Banana Guard in MultiVersus deals 10% increased damage after reaching 100 damage
- Helps take advantage of his knockout potential.

- Precision Grapple (Signature)
- Batman’s grappling hook in MultiVersus reels him in faster and emits a powerful blast when he lands.
- Provides him with additional movement and mobility around the stage
- Snowball Effect
- 7% increased damage against the enemy with the highest damage.
- 2 Fast 2 Block
- Dash attacks break armor
- Perfect for Batman’s incredibly powerful dash attack.
- Pugilist
- Increases his melee damage
- Ideal because of his bruiser style of play.

- Circuit Breaker (Signature)
- Black Adam deals 15% additional damage to fighters debuffed with shocked
- That’s Flammable Doc!
- For 3 seconds after knocking back an enemy with a projectile, you can melee attack that enemy to ignite them for 1 second.
- It will help you deal additional damage over time.
- Speed Force Assist
- You receive 4% increased base movement speed.
- Static Electricity
- After moving on the ground for 4 seconds, your next projectile applies the shocked effect to enemies.

Bugs Bunny
- Comin’ Through Doc (Signature)
- After leaving an existing tunnel, Bugs Bunny will release a shockwave that damages enemies within range.
- That’s Flammable Doc!
- For 3 seconds after knocking back an enemy with a projectile, you can melee attack that enemy to ignite them for 1 second.
- Suitable for his projectile attacks.
- Static Electricity
- After moving on the ground for 4 seconds, your next projectile applies the shocked effect to enemies.

- Airwalker
- Inputting a neutral dodge in the air will create a platform
- Since Bugs Bunny is a Mage character, he’ll benefit a lot from this Perk.
Finn The Human
- Backpack Strength (Signature)
- Finn’s backpack deals more damage and knockback based on the number of coins he’s holding
- The increase damage and knockback will reward his Assassin style of play
- Press the Advantage

Garnet
- Marker (Signature)
- Garnet’s rocket gauntlets will spawn her marker at their location when they are destroyed
- Gives her more presence on stage while also giving a lot of combo potential
- Snowball Effect
- 7% increased damage against the enemy with the highest damage.
- Pugilist
- Increases her melee damage
- Speed Force Assist
- You receive 4% increased base movement speed.
- Gives her more mobility and speed.
Gizmo
- Rhythm’s Gonna Getcha (Signature)
- If Gizmo fully stacks Music on an enemy, he will cause them to dance instead of silencing them.
- This allows him to land his attacks much easier after they’ve been silenced.
- Painted Target
- He deals 5% increased damage when hitting enemies that are in hitstun
- Works well with Gizmo’s kit in MultiVersus, as he has a lot of knockback options.
- Speed Force Assist
- You receive 4% increased base movement speed.
- Pugilist
- Increases his melee damage.
Harley Quinn
- Smooth Moves (Signature)
- Harley’s ground and air side specials also become dodges, giving her brief invulnerability at the beginning of the attack.
- This makes her extremely annoying to hit and preserves her dodge meter
- One of the best perks in the entirety of the MultiVersus roster!

- For 3 seconds after knocking back an enemy with a projectile, you can melee attack that enemy to cause ignite damage for 1 second.
- Airwalker
- Inputting a neutral dodge in the air will create a platform
- Harley is a lighter character who can take full advantage of the additional platform
- Armor Killer
- Hitting an armored enemy will stop them from using armor for a brief moment.
Iron Giant
- Afterburners (Signature)
- When Iron Giant’s rocket boots ignite the ground, they leave behind firewalls.
- Many of his moves require the rocket boots, so this will help out a lot.
- Protective Momentum
- Iron Giant gains a projectile shield after running on the ground in the same direction for at least 0.5 seconds.
- Helpful against many ranged enemies.
- Collateral Damage
- Iron Giant deals 1 additional damage when knocked back enemies collide with a wall or floor.
- Helpful against other tanks because of his knockback moves
- Pugilist
- Increases his melee damage.
Jake The Dog
- Stay Limber, Dude (Signature)
- After hitting the ground, Jake’s House ability bounces back into the air.
- Provides a lot more combo potential
- Painted Target
- He deals 5% increased damage when hitting enemies that are in hitstun
- Suits his finishers really well
- Last Stand
- Finn deals 10% increased damage after reaching 100 damage
- Pugilist
- Increases his melee damage.
Jason Voorhees
- Monstrous Side Step (Signature)
- Jason will move behind the nearest enemy in front of him while he performs his side step special.
- Allows him to constantly apply pressure and avoid ranged fights
- Protective Momentum
- Jason gains a projectile shield after running on the ground in the same direction for at least 0.5 seconds.
- Gives him additional protection against ranged fights

- Joker will occasionally throw an explosive Joker card instead of a normal playing card when he’s throwing cards.
- Effective for him as he uses a lot of projectiles.

Marvin The Martian
- Space Invader (Signature)
- Marvin can aim the direction he fires his air up attack.
- His up attack is very powerful so the extra accuracy and flexibility is appreciated

- Morty will spin in a circle when he summons Hammer Morty, hitting around multiple times.
- Adds extra reach to his ability

- Reindog’s crystal follows him as it descends.
- Provides him with a lot more stage control

Stripe
- Boom, Boom, Bounce! (Signature)
- If Stripe launches himself with his dynamite into terrain, he will create another large explosion at his location.

- Can be used to send enemies out of the Arena if they have an empty dodge meter.

- Superman gains a projectile shield after running on the ground in the same direction for at least 0.5 seconds.
- Helps him last as a tank

Taz
- Iron Stomach (Signature)
- After Taz eats a projectile, he will burp an anvil item instead of the projectile he ate.
- He can then throw this Anvil at enemies and inflict a lot of damage.
