Takeda Nobutada is a character that specializes in melee fights, along with some hard crowd control ability and a strong damaging ability. He has one main ability and one main ultimate, which are Mythic Grab and Demonic Aid. There are variations of this ability as well for you to choose from.
His first skill – Mythic Grab is more commonly used on Trio battles. This is because it is a crowd control skill which is really effective against melee Blue Focus Strikes. This will then allow you to negate the damage, restore your Health and Armor after an effective counterattack. This will also allow you to grab the attacker’s melee weapon and fight back. However, this is not good against Duos or Solos since they will pay really close attack to avoid your Mythic Grab Ability.
Meanwhile, your third skill Mythic Grab: Takedown is a modification of the original ability. This will allow you to charge forward and slams the enemy onto the ground while they are in Blue Focus. As you cast your skill, you’ll also gain a great Damage Reduction. You can also use this along with your Ultimate to make some big damage happen.
The amazing thing when it comes to this ability is that it can break Gold Focuses as well. However, you can only interrupt it and you will not be able to counterattack. Overall, this ability is something great you can use to both protect yourself and assist your teammates.
Your ultimate ability, Demonic Aid, will allow you to spawn a demonic Spirit to attack your enemies while restoring your health and armor. This will do extra damage if your enemies are airborne and under attack nearby.
It’s recommended for you to use the Third Ability – Demonic Aid: Force. This will give you another charge which you can use to fight against your enemies. Moreover, you’ll also get a stagger effect that pushes your opponent backwards, making it a great tool to assist your teammates.
The skill also scales with rarity based on your weapon’s rarity and your teammate’s weapon rarity. At max rarity which is legendary, you’ll be able to deal a lot more damage compared to the lower rarity. Overall, this ability will allow you to deal more damage at late game while being a bit weaker in the early game.
Combos
One combo you can use is after you use your ultimate ability. You can get an uppercut which launches your opponent upwards, then your ultimate will deal some damage to that target with a slash. Then, you can use your Blue Focus to finish off your combo with one final strike that does high damage.
When your enemies are launched into the air, you can use many other attacks to add damage to your combo. For example, you can try to keep attacking them airborne and finish off with a blue focus attack. When you launch them multiple times, your spirit will be able to hit them many more times, which will help you deal more damage.
