Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade is a mobile gacha game that is an officially licensed game of the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise. The game released last year of November 2023 to a positive reception and has garnered a loyal fanbase.
However, the game is only available for Japan as of right now, as there are no plans for a Global release yet.
But if you are one of the many fans of the series that still play the game despite not understanding Japanese, then you may be excited to hear about some new things coming up in the next update.
New Itadori & Big Update
The upcoming update features a ton of new content and limited events happening in the game. We will cover each noteworthy things in the update in dedicated sections for better understanding.
And please bear in mind that since the game has no Global release, the promotion for the game is entirely Japanese. In order to understand everything, Google Translate was used.
Everything might not be 100% accurate as there is still no official translation, so keep that in mind when reading through what is added in the game.
Main Story Chapter 10
The main attraction of the latest update in Phantom Parade is the release of the Main Story Chapter 10. This was released on Thrusday, January 11th in Japan.
The newly added chapter is titled “Fukuoka Branch School Edition: Beyond the Defeat”.
GRADE9 Level Cap Increase & Other Character Advancement Updates
The next big addition to the game is GRADE9. If you play the game, you will know that the current level cap is GRADE8, which caps at level 91.
With the release of GRADE9, you can now go from level 91 to level 97. Of course, that’s not the only thing here.
Included with the update the new addition of a gear collection quest titled “Kyushu’s Cursed Spirit’s Innate Domain C”.
There are also some new gears added, as well as new normal missions and character rank missions to help with character progression.
Strengthening Quest
For those that are starting the game, you will be in for a treat as there is a special event running through the game that adds a new Strengthening Quest.
This quest is good for new and old players alike, as you will be able to earn double the amount of dropped items and resources in the game.
This even will only last between January 11 and January 13, ending at exactly midnight. So, if you are looking to get strong or want to catch up, now is the perfect time to do so.
New Itadori Unit
Lastly, we have the new Itadori unit available as the highlight of the update. This Itadori unit will have his own banner, in which you can use your saved up resources to pull him and build his character up.
He is a SSR character, so the chances of pulling him will be higher and might require multiple pulls to get him.
This gacha period will only last between January 11 to January 28 at 14:59. If you love Itadori, then now is the perfect time to get this brand new unit.
