Nightingale: How to Get Simple Slingbow

Are you aware that Nightingale is currently in Early Access? If you’re a big fan of survival games, Nightingale’s sure to be an unforgettable experience. Heck, even if you aren’t that big a fan, the journey through the Fae wilds is well worth playing.

To get you started, we want to make sure you’re as geared up as you can possibly be — and that involves getting to know one of the first weapons in the game: the Simple Slingbow.

You’re definitely going to want to have this missile weapon with you while you wander the Fae wilds!

How to Get Simple Slingbow

Ready for the arduous task of getting the Simple Slingbow? All right, so it isn’t very arduous at all.

To help you get started, you’ll want to start crafting on your Simple Workbench. To place it down, you’ll want to find 10 Wood Bundles & 4 Plant Fibres. You can’t really craft anything without it, so it’s a good idea to get started as soon as you can. In fact, it’s generally a good idea to level up as quickly as you can.

NOTE: If you can’t craft some of the materials/stations mentioned in the guide, make sure that you’ve already bought the schematic from Essence Traders.

Crafting the Slingbow in Nightingale. — *Time to get crafting.*

You should have a list of items when you access your Simple Workbench, which includes the Simple Slingbow. Here are the required materials:

Wood Bundle x1 – To find the Wood Bundles, you’ll want to chop the wooden logs that can be found on the ground, especially near trees.
Straps x 2 (The materials & stations you’ll need are listed below)
- Simple Tanning Station – 6 Sticks & 10 Plant Fibres.
  - As you move around, you will be able to spot some Sticks on the ground, which you can pick up.
  - Next, you’ll want to pick up the tall grass on the ground and you’ll be able to obtain Plant Fibres.
- In the Simple Tanning Station, you will be able to use Hides and turn them into Straps. For 1 Hide, you will be able to get 1 Strap(s).

After that, it’s just a matter of gathering the resources necessary, which should be easy enough. While you’re still early in the game, crafting and gathering resources is as natural as it gets in the Fae wilds.

Not too hard, right?

Oh, of course, you’re going to need some Slingbow Ammo, so make sure to craft the Slingbow as well! Once you’ve gotten everything you need, all you have to do is point and shoot. Let’s see those beasts try to get close when you have the ever-reliable Simple Slingbow!
