Despite being in a post-apocalyptic world in Once Human, you still have the opportunity to decorate and keep up your own place. To create a nice environment that resonates with your personality, you’ll need furniture. This guide will tell you all the places you can find furniture in Once Human so let’s get started.

How To Find Furniture Guide (All Methods)

There are a variety of ways players can get their hands on furniture items in Once Human. In this comprehensive guide we’ll talk about every method you can use to obtain furniture in the game along with a small introduction of the types of Furniture items there are.

Below is a list of every method we’ll be discussing in this guide:

  • Battle Pass & Shop
  • Season Shop
  • Logging Beaver
  • Designer’s workstation
  • Vendors
  • Exploring and Looting
  • Specific Areas with furniture

If you want a more detailed walkthrough of how to get furniture from the methods mentioned above, keep reading till the end.

Furniture Types (Introduction)

There are two categories of furniture in Once Human. We have:

  • Blueprints (Formulas)
  • Single use (Facilities)

To explain this further, go into your inventory. You’ll notice there are two tabs. One tab has  a house icon on it. This tab is for Construction. This is where you’ll find your single-use furniture. If you hover over a piece of furniture, you’ll see it is labeled Facility which is what the game likes to call Single-use Furniture.

If we head to the special tabs, that is where you’ll find blueprints. In this tab, you’ll find all of your Blueprints to furniture, or as the game likes to call it: formulas.

If you use these formulas, they will be added to your build menu where you can then construct the furniture whenever you like.

Similarly, the items on your construction tab are also in your build menu.

If you go into your build menu, you’ll find your items from your construction tab. Hover over it and it’ll say that you own one of those items. This is because you do own it and it’s currently in your inventory.

The “single-use” label is referred to because if you equip this item and place it down somewhere, the item is no longer in your inventory.

However, if you go ahead and demolish that same item that you’ve just built, the item once again appears in your build menu.

Remember to place your furniture, you’ll need a base. Here is our Best Base Building Tricks for Infinite Materials & Energy Link. Now, let’s proceed to the methods of obtaining furniture.

Battle Pass & Shop

The first and most obvious method to obtain furniture is to buy them through the shop or win them from the paid tier battle pass.

The Shop

To find furniture in the shop, first:

  • Head over to the Rewards of the Battle Pass option in the main menu.

  • Then click on Shop.
  • After Shop, you’ll see a Territory tab on the third option, go there next.

  • After that, click on “Bundle” and you’ll see a list of Furniture Bundles that you can buy.

All of these bundles include Formula Bundles. This is where you’ll get the Furniture Blueprints and use them freely as long as you have the correct material.

As mentioned, these aren’t single-use items and you can reuse the formulas to create as many of the same furniture as long as you have the required material to build them more than once.

The Battle Pass

The Free Tier in the top, doesn’t have any furniture as rewards so you’ll have to obtain them from the paid tier Battle pass which is at the bottom and eventually win them.

The paid tier has a variety of furniture items in the form of Blueprints.

Now, let’s move onto another method.

Season Shop

This next method is also a Shop but the Season Shop.  To head over there:

  • Hit esc on your keyboard
  • Go to your PvE Scenario Option at the top right.

  • Go to “Season Goals” tab
  • Then head to the “Season’s Shop” option that has a small shop symbol above it.

  • After that head to Furniture Formula and then to “Phase 1” just underneath it.

Here you’ll see a list of furniture formulas that you can buy using Starchrom.

Starchrom is not a paid currency and you can obtain these in-game through various ways.

SIDE TIP: The Season Shop is the easiest way to obtain toy items for your deviations. Some of the deviations like the Extradimensional Cat, like to have a toy on them. You can consider the Season Shop for toys for them to make them a little bit happier.

Speaking of deviations, one of the deviations called the Logging Beaver is also known to help you obtain furniture.

Logging Beaver

If you have the Logging Beaver as your Deviation, they will normally go and bring back logs for you.

Sometimes, there’s a chance this beaver also might bring back furniture for you, as well. This is however, more on the arrear side and only if you’re lucky you’re beaver may bring one back.

You’ll find the furniture in the same section where the logs are.

If you don’t have the logging Beaver, that’s okay we can help you out. ItemLevel has a guide that can help you acquire the Logging Beaver Deviant. Check out How To Get The Logging Beaver Deviant and Cat Deviant Fast.

Designer’s Workstation

Another way of obtaining furniture is through the Designer’s workstation. You can build one through your Memetic Screen.

  • If you go to Memetic
  • Go to the building section
  • Scroll down and you’ll find the option to build the Designer’s Workstation.

This workstation allows you to disassemble furniture blueprints for Formula blueprints fragments.

Note: you can only disassemble furniture blueprints and not single-use items.

The Workstation gives us two options: one for Crafting and the other for Disassembling. Click on “Disassemble”

Disassemble

When you click on Disassemble, you’ll see all of your Blueprints over at the left side. If you’ve added a blueprint to your build menu and used them, they will not show up here. So, ensure that you haven’t used any blueprints and that they’re still in your inventory if you want to disassemble them through the workstation.

To see how many Blueprint formula fragments you’ll be getting, simply click on one, and it’ll show next to it the number of fragments.

Disassembling to get furniture in Once Human

The rarity of the Blueprint will determine how many fragments you get from it. For example, a normal one may give you 1 fragment and a common one may give you 3, etc.

Now let’s see how crafting works.

Crafting

If we go back to the workstation and click on “Crafting”, you’ll see two options.

The first option is going to guarantee that you get a furniture Blueprint of at least the “common” rarity (which is the green rarity with a chance of Epic).

If you click on the second option, you are guaranteed to get the normal item which is the non-colored ones (you also do get a chance of getting the epic rarity, as well.)

Now, let’s see how to use both these options.

  • Go over to the disassemble option and receive fragments
  • You then go over to the crafting and craft a blueprint.
  • It will take a second and you’ll obtain your new items formula immediately after.
  • Once you obtain your item from your workstation, you can go back to your Specials tab in the inventory.
  • Use your blueprint to add it to your building menu.

Now, let’s look at the next way to find furniture.

Vendors

The next way to get furniture items is through vendors from certain settlements. One of those settlements is Blackfell. If you travel over to Blackfell, go to the Vendor named Lacey.

Lacey has two furniture formulas for you to buy, as well as two different wallpapers if you’re interested in them. These furnitures will cost you Energy Links.

You can purchase them and they’ll be added to your inventory on the Special items tab. From there use them so they can be added to your build menu where it is ready to be built by you.

You can find another vendor in Greywater Camp and his name is Jonathan. He also has two different formulas available for players to purchase.

  • Lacey from Blackfell has:
  1. A bathtub
  2. An American Chandelier.
  • Jonathan from Greywater camp has:
  1. A Frame
  2. An American desk lamp.
  • Zhao Jintan from Meyer’s Market has:
  1. American cabinet
  2. Spring lights
  3. American wall lamp
  4. The medium frame.

As for the vendor’s from the other two settlements (Deadsville and Tall grass), we didn’t find any furniture from the vendors there.

Moving on to the next method.

Exploring and Looting

The next method to get some furniture is simply by exploring the world. While exploring, you have a chance to get furniture items from a variety of different crates that you loot. You may end up getting either Formulas or Single-use furniture items with the storage crates.

Aside from crates, you can also get furniture items from desks, tables, cabinets and really anything that you can loot.

So far, there’s no evidence that you can find furniture though weapon or gear crates since that makes sense and those crates are exclusively for weapons or gears.

You can also get furniture items from puzzle crates (basically mystical crates but with floating purple crystals on top.

So, we recommend that you mainly go for those rectangular Storage crates for a higher chance at finding furniture items. Also don’t forget to loot things like desks, tables and cabinets.

Now let’s look at specific areas where you can find furniture in the world. The next point is essentially an extension of this one but we’re giving it its own part because of how elaborate it will be.

Specific Areas with furniture

If you’re in a bit of a rush and wish to find some furniture formulas quickly, we have some spots you can look at. You can find good places to loot furniture in Blackfell

If you’re on phase 1 on your server, you might not be able to access this area yet but it’s worth waiting for until you reach phase 2 and get to unlock Blackfell. The area is pretty good and you’ll have  a lot of luck finding furniture here.

You’re going to want to go to the exact spot shown in the map below. The coordinates are Red Sands (4501, -1460)

The points we’re going to loot are the turquoise house and the red building behind the house. The house has many cabinets for you to loot and the red building has a ton of desks.

A little tip before entering the area, we recommend bringing corn ale with you since it is a highly polluted area and your sanity may be dropping quite a bit, as a result.

Corn Ale to get furniture in Once Human

Corn Ale will prevent your sanity drop for 30 minutes which is a decent amount of time to loot. You can make corn ale by using a Brewing Barrel.

Go to memetics and search “brew” and you’ll find the option to make a Brewing Barrel. Once you unlock the Barrel, this will also unlock the Corn Ale recipe. You can access the Barrel and get some corn ale out of that barrel.

All you need is Pure Water and Corn. After that you wait 20 minutes and you’ll get Corn Ale. Do this before heading to Blackfell to search for furniture loot.

Loot Refreshing System

According to a Reddit Post, lootables refresh every 4 hours. The timer starts at 12 am midnight EST and after that every 4 hours, all lootable items will refresh. So if you loot something within one of the 4-hour windows and you revisit the same place, all items you looted will not be there anymore.

For instance, if you convert your time to EST and see that you looted a box at 12:30 am. The box will remain empty up until 4:00 am. At 4:00 am, the box will refresh and you’ll find loot in it once again.

Keeping this in mind, you can revisit the place with the most loot for furniture after the 4-hour window ends and the lootables get refreshed.

Don’t forget to loot everything from the small cabinets, to the big ones, to the crates and even the dumpsters in the backyard.

If you’re underleveled, you might also want to avoid the monsters as well as the giant boss that’s in the middle of the streets.

Bonus Decor Item

For a little Bonus decor Item, that’s not exactly furniture but you can get yourself one of it anyway. If you head over to the Event tab by clicking F3 and then going to the “Gather Friends” option.

From there on the upper right corner, you’ll see the Redemption Shop. This shop offers you a little snow globe called floral snowglobe.

You can head over to your inventory and see the item and to the construction tab. The item is not even listed as furniture, rather as single-use decor, but it’s a good addition nonetheless. This doesn’t go to your build menu and you can directly place it.

It says this item was earned from participating in events which may mean that future events will unlock more furniture items that you can collect! And that is all for the complete furniture guide. Let us know in the comments which method helped you get the most furniture!
