As you advance in Palia, you might start wondering if you can plant trees in your plot of land. Whether it’s to create a consistent flow of wood or for decoration purposes, yes, you can plant trees! Albeit there will be a few requirements before that and a lot of dedication. Keep reading!
How To Plant Trees
Now, to plant trees you need either Samara or Acorn. These are tree seeds that drop from the Birch or Oak trees that you see growing around you and the village. But they don’t drop from small trees – the seed only drop from medium and large trees.
To be able to chop these trees, you will need the Standard Axe which requires 5 Bronze and Planks to make. To use the Standard Axe, you also must reach a minimum of Level 3 in logging and then buy the recipe from Ashura for 250 coins.
Below are what the seeds look like and they are extremely rare. Like really, really rare! Samara seeds from Birch trees drop a lot easier and Acorns are rarer. If you’re wondering, I was chopping nearly 400 worth of wood before I got the Samara and Acorn.
Planting is also easy. Just use them as you would with any of your building and furniture. Alternatively, you can also go to bird’s eye view mode to place them. Trees are instant – once you place them, they immediately turn into trees. Yes, you can chop them, too!
And that’s how you can plant trees in Palia!
