The main story in Palia is pretty intriguing for a casual game with the Ancient Battery section requires us to solve the puzzle. Hidden behind the ruins are the amazing secrets of past civilizations as you and Jina work together to dive deeper into this place. Keep reading to learn how to solve it!
The Ancient Battery Guide & Puzzle Solution
The Ancient Battery starts with receiving a mail from Jina along with the Ancient Battery quest item. Don’t forget to pick up and bring the quest item with you! After talking to her, both of you go inside the ruins behind Phoenix Falls and you end up in this area.
The quest is actually hilariously simple. I have to admit spending an embarrassing 10 minutes running around overthinking it. Palia is a lot more simpler than that. You can see two bowls of water next to the one in the middle filled with water. Your natural reaction is wanting to fill the one in the middle, but how?
Simply, drag out your watering can and fill it in. That’s it. There’s really no hidden mechanism and if your watering can is empty, the pools around you will do.
Once you do, the door behind will open to a whole new place. You’ll be asked to explore deeper, so just go in, read the inscription on the statue, and go back to Jina to finish the quest.
Additionally, if you talk to Hekla after that, Hekla will hint towards a possible spoiler of the mystery behind the ruins. A mystery that might make Jina sad. Certainly, we can’t wait to learn more about the story!
Aside from the quest, make sure not to miss out on these two items here. The Ancient Tome is on the left side of the stairs. The Treasure Chest should be hidden behind this waterfall here.
And that’s the puzzle solution to the Ancient Battery quest in Palia! Hopefully that helps!
