The Phoenix Shrine Quest
In the early stages of the game, you will unlock a quest named The Phoenix Shrine after talking with Jina. She will ask you to investigate the shrine, and you will need to find a Phoenix Statue and interact with it to complete the quest.
The aim of this simple quest is to introduce you to Palia’s Focus Regeneration system. Therefore, it will not take you too much time to complete it.
To go to the Phoenix Shrine, head to Phoenix Falls. It is located in the northwest direction of the map.
Go there and take the wooden bridge on the right. After walking for a while, you will arrive at a fork in the road.
You should take the path on your right to find the Phoenix Statue you need to interact with.
Additionally, you can get to the entrance of the Phoenix Ruins if you go straight instead of right. But you will need to take on another quest to enter the ruins.
Go straight ahead and reach the Phoenix Statue. You should commune with it to ‘Offer to the Phoneix’ and you will complete the quest. Doing this will also give you a 40% increase in focus.
You can get there to redo this action whenever you want to increase your focus. This mechanic will play an important role as you progress in the game because the focus points allow you to develop your skills much faster than you already do.
