Palworld right before the eve of Christmas has just released a new major update, which includes a little teaser of their growing collaboration with highly acclaimed indie survival sensation, Terraria. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get the Meowmere Sword, which is directly taken from Terraria and is a very unique “melee” weapon!

How to Get the Meowmere Sword (Terraria Sword) | Feybreak Update

Simply put, the Meowmere Sword is something that you will just need to unlock from the tech tree. More specifically, you will need to first reach level 30 to gain access to its node. Once you have the required level, you have to spend 2 ancient technology points to unlock it.

The Meowmere is seemingly accessible as it only requires mostly easy to get resources, yet it is extremely powerful due to how the weapon works. The resources needed for it are the following:

  • 22 Ingots
  • 22 Paldium Fragments
  • 22 Coal
  • 3 Predator Cores

As you can see, the only problematic resource here will be the Predator Cores, which are also a new addition in this update. In order to get them, you will need to find and defeat Predator Pals, which are basically just stronger variants of existing pals.

They have a distinct red and black aura all around them, and they will be extremely tough to take down if you are not sufficiently prepared. They are typically a much higher level than you would expect, so be ready for a hard fight if you ever find one.

Once you manage to take down any Predator Pal, you will get a lot of Predator Cores from looting its body. They are very rare, so you will likely have to roam the wilds for quite a bit of time before you can find one of these.

The Meowmere sword itself is an amusing item as, despite being a melee weapon, it also fires cats out of it that deal damage and bounce to nearby enemies. In addition to that, it also makes some cat noises whenever you attack.

It is a deceptively powerful weapon, which makes the hunt for Predator Cores absolutely worth it. That is really all you need to know about this new weapon, and as it is just a small sample of the collaboration between Palworld and Terraria, expect more silly content like this once the holiday season is over!
