Today, Pocket Pair Inc., the developers of Palworld released patch v0.1.5.0 for both Steam and Xbox platforms. The patch notes detail a plethora of changes, including major fixes, key configuration updates, player and Pal issues, base issues, balance adjustments, network-related updates, and more. However, the developers have also acknowledged some known issues with this patch on their Discord channel.

Known Issues in Patch v0.1.5.0

Despite all the changes in patch v0.1.5.0, the developers have acknowledged some known issues:

  • With the implementation of the [Relax] work mode on the monitoring stand, the default work state of the base where a monitoring stand has already been placed is now set to [Relax]. As a result, the work speed of Pals at the base is slow. The developers have apologized for the inconvenience and asked players to change the work mode from the monitoring stand.
  • Additionally, there is an issue where Pals created through breeding retain their passives. The developers plan to roll back this change as soon as possible.

Here’s their exact Discord statement of these issues:

Major Fixes & Updates Overview in Patch v0.1.5.0

The patch has implemented a backup of save data on the world selection screen and resolved an issue of unnecessary data accumulating in save data. It has also added full support for keyboard key configuration and modified specifications to allow guild members to be removed when not logged in.

Several player issues have been addressed, including improving interaction accuracy with adjacent objects and fixing an issue where riding in prohibited hunting areas would not result in a crime. For Pals, the patch has changed specifications so that when a Pal is instructed to “attack aggressively,” the Pal will attack enemies indiscriminately even if they are not in combat.

The patch has fixed several issues related to base Pals, including preventing them from getting stuck on top of a logging site or at the border of the base area. It has also added measures to prevent base Pals from getting stuck in the farm on a roof and fixed an issue where work Pals would get stuck in the summon space of Palbox when restarting the server on a dedicated server.

Significant balance adjustments have been made, including strengthening mining power for Digtoise partner skills and fixing the abnormally high selling price of nails. The server lobby has been renovated, and the ability to view online players on a dedicated server has been added.

In conclusion, while patch v0.1.5.0 brings a host of improvements and fixes, players should be aware of the known issues and await further updates from the developers.
