The Wumpy jump in Parkour Reborn is a movement technique people love to show-off in the game. It’s not a necessarily new movement technique, but players have found different ways to do it in the game. Different players share suggestion how to best hit it consistently, so here we go!
How To Wumpy Perfectly
The Wumpy jump basically sends you into a super jump after jumping over the ledge. Using the wumpy movement, you’ll be able to make high jumps to reach higher ledges. Or just to make the most dramatic land after a parkour session.
Chainining With Wallboosting
Crypivez shares the steps to learn doing Wumpy which consists of Chaining and Wallboosting. Chaining is a technique where you chain your hops and runs utilizing your stamina bar. This is made available when you’re level 20.
The player explains Chaining is where you have to “hold your dash key and once the bar turns red, click on your dash key again and jump.” And then Wallboosting, which is basically hitting the jump button immediately with a flick after dash-jumping on the wall.
Now to do the wumpy, do a long jump off a building to reach the wall, do a wallboost, and then time your jump on the ledge. Don’t spam it, just press jump once or you’ll end up doing a vault.
New Coiling Technique
The Coiling technique doesn’t require wallboosting. It is similar to the previous version, but as you jump and reach the wall, press jump twice like you would in wallboosting.
And once you reach the timing on the ledge, press jump to send yourself into a wumpy. The new coiling technique sends you further in the jump which you can compare below.
And those are two ways you can do Wumpy in Parkour Reborn. Both of them still require precise timing to execute, so all you need to do now is practice them!
