In Payday 3, there is a variety of heists that players can partake in. Among them is No Rest for the Wicked, in which you and up to three other players rob a bank that’s currently holding a lot of cash in its vault. One of the objectives involves having to get past a security gate, so how exactly can you achieve that?

How to Get Past the Security Gate in No Rest for the Wicked

The first step in getting through the gate blocking your access to the vault is to cut the power. Basically, you have to follow the red wire protruding out of the panel right beside the gate.

After you’ve switched it off, you’ll have to make your way to the power room. For this step, you’ll need to find the guard with a red keycard on his back pocket and steal it from him.

The power room can change locations across different attempts of the heist, so you’ll have to find the door with a keypad beside it.

Upon entering the power room, disable the security system by hacking the computer. After that, the cable controller to your right should be activated. Interact with the controller to reveal which switch you’ll have to flip at the gate.

As you return to the security gate, make sure that no cameras or guards can see you as they can detect you while you perform the next step.

Open the panel beside the gate and flip the switch that has the same symbol and color as the one you saw at the cable controller in the previous step. After doing that, you’re done, the way to the vault should now be open!
