Peroxide: How To Get New Wungus Race & Harvester NPC Location (January 2024)

If you managed to sleep on Peroxide during the holidays, then you have plenty to catch up on. There’s a ton of new Christmas events that have rewards of their own along with a not so new race that you’ll have a chance of obtaining again as well.

This race would be the Wungus (aka Bungus) race. No, we’re not talking about the shrooms. We’ll, almost. We’re talking about mushrooms that walk around on their own. It’s a pretty fun race to play as, find out what you need to do in order to become a mushroom yourself with the guide below!

How To Get New Wungus Race & Harvester NPC Location (January 2024)

Turning into a Wungus will give you 50% better Reiatsu Regen, along with another 20 bonus to your total Reiatsu. Another bonus it gives you is 50 agility.

However, 5 points of vitality will be taken away from you. All you have to do is collect 7777 Wungus mushroom heads and turn them into the Harvester NPC.

Do not confuse this one with the 2023 Halloween Event’s Wungus – as the buffs and debuffs are based on the older version, which was called, Bungus (the Green Mushroom dude).

Wungus Location

Your travels will take you back to Hueco Mundo. Go all the way to The Gourge and jump down into the Menos Forest. Find the Ruined Castle and go to the field outside.

Stay on the left side until you see some ruins. These ruins is where Chad G. Chad the bungus resides. Find that and you’ll be right on top of the Harvester.

Once you spawn into Menos Forest by jumping down from The Gourge, make a left turn into the Ruined Castle. Follow the arrow on the image into an open field and hug the wall to the left.

Exit the building where the Chad is and go around the back. You’ll see a green mushroom head in the rear.

Talk to the Harvester and make sure you still have some extra Wungus as you need 7777 units of it.

Choose the option that says Metamorphosis to get the new race. Sadly, you can no longer collect Wungus as the farming locations are no longer available.

And that’s how you turn into a Wungus in Peroxide. You have some turning in to do, better make it quick before The Harvester leaves for good!
