The new currency added to the game with the Festival Event of Pet Catchers is the Shells, and there are many enjoyable ways for you to get them pretty quickly in the game. In this guide, we are going to talk about how to get shells super fast in Pet Catchers by fishing, catching pets, and playing the newest mini-game.
How To Get Shells Super Fast
You are going to need to have a good amount of shells for the new Festival Event in Pet Catchers. Lucky for you, there are numerous ways to obtain shells. These are:
- Fishing and exchanging your fish.
- Catching pets.
- Playing the new “Guess that Pet” mini-game.
But, how are you going to use these methods in the most efficient way that will let you get shells super fast? Let’s take a look at that in the rest of this guide.
Using Shell Multiplier & Team
You can fish in any water around the new festival area, and each and every fish can be exchanged for shells. After catching a good amount of fish, you can go to the sign right next to the docks and sell your fish there.
However, if you want to get more shells with the same amount of fish, you need to have a decent shell multiplier and a shell team. A shell team would be a full team of Epic pets with shell multiplier buffs such as ring lions make sure to equip them before interacting with the sign.
By doing that, you can actually sell your fish for more than 9M shells. Plus, the best part is that these fish will give you gold coins and gems too.
If you do not have a shell multiplier, that is alright as well. Just go to the back of the festival area by following the path. There, you are going to see a couple of pets that you can catch. By catching and equiping these pets, you are going to have a good amount of multipliers.
Catching Pets
The pets you are going to catch in this special event area will give you shells. Therefore, their only use is not giving you multipliers, but shells too.
One example is, if you catch a Magic Doggy without equipping your pets that has the multiplier traits, you are going to get 20 shells. However, if you equip your team before catching the pet, it will give you around 588K shells. As you can see too, multiplying pets will make a great change to the amount of shells you are going to receive.
Guess That Pet Game
The last and probably the best method you can use to get shells in the new festival is the Guess That Pet mini-game. This game is located at the upper side of the festival area. As you can probably guess, it is all about trying to answer all the pets shown on the screen right.
You can earn one shell for every point you get. When you look at that like this, you might think that it is not too much. However, once again if you have multipliers, this amount will be even higher than fishing. You will also get +1 free random boost for every 100 points you get.
